Early Access Review
Really cool concept but the menus are a pain to navigate and it all feels a bit clunky in mission. It's difficult to get people to do what you want when you want, though I hope that's just me needing to get sued to the controls. And then there's the weird progression system that seems to apply to even one off missions and I'm not quite sure how that works because again, the menus are a pain to navigate. Would hold off until the game is further along and or there's a bigger discount.

++ for the tutorial though

Edit: played some more, got to grips with the controls. I do find there are some important missing features such as being able to relocate an order in the timeline, rather than having to redo everything from pretty much scratch depending on when the order that needs to be adjusted is.
Again I hope this is just something I that is ther but I don't know how to do, since you can adjust move orders without cancelling the whole plan beyond them, but so far move orders seem to eb the only adjustable ones.

Still hate the menus though. And IMO it really doesn't make sense how skirmish missions are part of the progression system and there doesn't seem to be a sandbox mode. Have yet to try the campaign.

Would still recommend waiting for a discount but it's good fun despite its issues.

edit 2: As it turns out the tester branch has updated menus that are much more pleasant to navigate, so really most of the grievances expressed above are resolved and I can confidently recommend this tittle.
