learn music theory... rhythm theory..? without even realizing it.

Gameplay is as simple as pressing one button (and sometimes even holding it) but they really push that idea to it's limit. There's a lot of novel mechanics and techniques to learn and master and the music is super so mega uber good. Story is simple but really nice, lovely game, definitely recommend to people who play rhythm games and even to people who don't.

Visual style is fun and smooth, music is great, and the controls are so precise and tight that perfecting each and every level is very satisfying once you get the hang of it. Though you can still play at your own pace exploring each level and ignoring the score attack style this game offers, besides when pizza time comes around. Highly recommend if hunting ranks and achievements is your kind of thing, or just going fast really. Like.. really fast.

Really good game with friends, lots of trickery to pull. Highly recommend as a regular group thing if you've got plenty of people.

Great roguelike that has quite a bit to see. There are a lot of fun guns to use and synergies between weapons and items that can get really crazy, and quite a few secrets to discover. Although the game is very straight forward, there's an emphasis on mastery as you are often rewarded for thorough and flawless play.

Astroneer is a real treat if you like managing resources and planning missions to other planets. The machinery and automatic structures are easy to understand and great to work with, and can be very satisfying when building up and making plans. The atmosphere is calm and immersive along with the music. It's a beautiful looking but relatively simple game to play on your own or with others.

Downwell Is a game. About going down a well.

This game was a real good one, a pixelated shooter with downward scrolling. The gameplay is fluid, and simple enough to understand quickly. It's quite short, but there's a lot of replayability. It's one of those easy to play, hard to master type of games. It's tough but you'll get the hang of it. I would recommend this to people who enjoy mastering their skills and are familiar with platformers.
