Dear Colossal Order, Or should I say Paradox?

As my account states, No, I don't have many hours. No, I don't have many reviews, but what I do have is a strong opinion.

I had always been the type of person to support a company in their lows, and even though I have always, always stayed positive, and still am staying positive, that this game will become what has been promised to us, I would like to share my strong opinion on your latest e-mail; the state of the game, the Beach properties DLC, and the treatment towards the player base, as well as how I personally feel having bought the Ultimate Edition of the game as a pre-order. Hoping other people that read this review will not be discouraged in buying the game, now or in the future.

While the game is still not optimized, and I am truly hoping there is a high priority in making this game be playable in the first place, the idea of releasing DLC's in and of itself was not terrible. However, I, and I feel many others who have shared my opinion before I have, believe that there was way too high of a priority in getting the DLC out. This is all beside the point of it having mediocre assets at best, which arguable should (and now is) in the base game. I am very glad this decision was made, and kudo's to the staff and directors for making this decision. However, I am inclined to believe that the people that have bought the Ultimate Edition, the ones that supported this game the most (on a financial basis), are truly being ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in their *** once again by the decision to release three creator packs and three radio stations.

I wish there was a way where some players that had bought the ultimate edition had a bit of a say in what would happen with the way it would have been refunded. Or a poll, or just something that had included this section of the players. I am not in fear that we will not be rightfully compensated, it's just that the way of communicating this to me and the rest of the community once again felt empty and not inclusive.

To come to my conclusion; I'd rather get a smooth game, that has a decent amount of content that can be added upon later just like in CS1, then have a game that extorts people from their money on an empty game, with a half-working game at best and DLC's that feel empty to say the least. I hope that in half a year from now, we can proudly leave this in the past, and I'll gladly change my review by then. But for now, I hope the priorities for this game will (finally) be put straight into fixing all of the game-breaking issues, bugs, and currently empty DLC that will still be empty even though free, rather than keep adding on this poorly running game.
