Got the game for $5 and still feel ripped off, if you wanna switch off and play an ugly, over flashy racing game, this is it. controls are yuck, cars handle like your driving in sludge, cops on high heat are annoying to outrun, you basically gotta destroy them with their own stupidity since outrunning them is impossible, like most nfs game, they can go at infinite speeds.
I swear in older games you could destroy the cops with big dohnut signs and destructible fuel stations, can't seem to find those in this game, apart from repair fuel stations, although jumps help shake them off sometimes, but not many of them around.
When your caught it seems you keep some rep tho, i think its half what you had.
Character customization is picking a preset character and dressing them up in hats, glasses, shirts, pants and shoes.
I don't like the split system with rep and bank, you get bank in the day and rep in the night, idc what time of day it is, if you do good in a race, it should earn you money and rep regardless, dumb system, but i can see how it might be fun for kids.
The car customization is ok, its very much need for speedish, most customizations will be locked early on, car sounds are dodgy, some are quiet, some are loud, never been the franchises strong suit.
You will have to replay races to get money in day or rep at night since progression is locked behind your rep lvl, does get repetitive for those not easily entertained.
Cops don't seem to change depending on the difficulty and the races are quite easy on hard, overall its a rather boring and frustrating game, all this imo.
Your welcome to disagree and enjoy the game tho, to each their own, but its a solid pass from me.
Edit: Game requires Origin/EA account to run, so you'll need to run both steam and origin, not a big issue but can be an annoyance for some people.

i've played a lil bit, even tho its a dodgy port to pc, its pretty fun. just smack dudes with WB.

git et on sale if u can, it does feel a bit dated compared to the new one but has more content :)

Basically its far cry 5, SMALLER map, smaller even more tedious story, no gun customization just different tiers, no vehicle customization just different tiers..
You need to do outposts multiple times untill you have enough ethanol crap to upgrade workbenches to get next tier of weapons or else you won't have a pleasant experience(you need better weapons to progress), not that the game is pleasant apart from its ok visuals.
its a copy and paste of FC5 and not a good one, i found the entire experience frustrating and i'm convinced now that the FC franchise is ♥♥♥♥♥♥.
SO glad i got this cheaply.
