The development time in this game is horrendously slow/the developers live in a bubble where they add new stuff instead of fixing actual issues with the game. It has been over a year since we have gotten a update, and the last update was just a hotfix. The only new content this game has gotten is from mods but the developers are "still working on build 42."

Let me be real with you, this is the best survival game ever made, but the developers will make you want to pull your hair out. They are too busy with their thursdoids showing us chickens one week, hunting the next week, migration paths after that, new fps increases after that. IF ITS DONE, WHY DON'T YOU JUST ADD IT TO THE GAME. Its in early access for Christ sake, stuff is supposed to be released and tweaked on. Remember how when you guys released the new foraging system and it was a absolute dumpster fire where you could walk in the woods foraging for 8 hours only to find two pine cones/foraging on the roads for 8 hours only to find two stones? What happened after 3 months of adding updates, IT BECAME GOOD. Then you just stopped updating b41 to focus on b42 when now foraging works but half the map isn't in a foraging zone. Just release stuff when you complete it, its a early access game, its not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fortnite/league of legends with season 1-whatever they are on now. Sometimes they add stuff that is half baked and the community backlash actually gets them to fix it in a fast amount of time. They added zombies pretending to be dead even after you killed them, and the community backlash was so intense they fixed it within a week. Now imagine if that was put in release 41.78, we would be stuck with that for over a year. But vehicles don't have animations despite 41 being a animation build, foraging system works only half the time, there's places on the map that are unfinished the devs have just abandoned in the current stable build, eletcrical is only useful to level 1 for over 99% of players, metalworking/first aid are as useless as nipples on a man, the UI is a joke, most of the "challenges" are just a gimmick that isn't even challenging, your character can get bitten through a open car door that looks closed to die in a permadeath game because they haven't added animations to cars despite them being released 7 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ years ago, wound infection doesn't even work, pvp is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ dice roll, sprinters are so horridly implemented they slow down the player when they get attacked even before the attack connects, zombies disappear in multiplayer, cars barely work in multiplayer, wound infection doesn't even work, there is no late game content besides whatever goal you invent, etc. The devs will just leave ♥♥♥♥ half baked then come around to it later. But what actually happens is the moders fix it. Hell, the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MOD MANAGER in game is a mod made by modders. Modders make fps fixes, modders made the foraging system, modders made cars have animations, the devs just rely on modders to fix the broken ♥♥♥♥ in their game which has lead to anyone who has over 300 hours having a mod list of over 20+ quality of life mods to play the damn game. This is the best game but my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ god is it frustrating to watch it in the long term. The devs rather work on NPCs, new crafting system to make the game minecraft, making 32 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ levels for 3 buildings in the map they actually plan to have 32 floors, hunting/migration paths for deer(which by the way, the deer in knox county are whitetail deer, they don't migrate) instead of fixing the actual issues with their game.

it lags way too bad.dont waste your money,i have all my settings all the way donw and it still crashed my computer,it is a gaming destop too
