It is quite clear that there are some people that put their love into making this game. The environments are gorgeous for how few maps there are. It runs very well in between bugs/crashes. The story was... present. Not bad, but a disappointing ending.

Here's the problem, if you go from playing the first two Wolfenstein games and hop into this one, it's appalling. The gunplay SUCKS. They changed the name of the Lasergewehr to the Laserhammer, which is lame, but it still goes BBBUUUUUUUAAAAHH so I can't complain too much, other than the fact that it does no damage. All of the guns do no damage, they're less accurate than the other games, they have a limited range as if bullets disintegrate mid-flight and most of them are simply not fun to use.

My buddy and I mostly ran around using melee because it was more effective. Until the AWESOME feature where you can't pick up your throwing knife/axe off the ground 80% of the time. It would have made it actually fun if the stealth mechanics weren't utterly broken, but they are, like most features in this game.

I feel SO bad for the developers, because I know they wanted to be proud of this game just like they were the previous instalments. Shame on whoever made the decisions to give enemies healthbars as a means of adding difficulty. Whoever that was clearly did not play the other games on Mein Lieben to understand where the difficulty should come from.

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. It hurts to say that, but unless it's less than $5, you should watch someone else play it. It's also super short and not worth your money.

David Jaffe, one of the creators of the original trilogy, does not like how Kratos turned out in these last two God of War titles. This is the first time I have ever disagreed with the original creator on their own creation, regarding ANY topic.

The arc of Kratos as a parent, getting to teach his son how to be a man is such an important element that has been lost in story writing and is honestly NEEDED today. This game obviously has a predominantly male audience, and I hope Kratos' words can reach the young men playing this game that do not already have a strong father figure in their lives.

The gameplay is vicious and satisfying, especially on the hardest difficulty. I got the same visceral feeling from playing Space Marine, except this game has more sombre notes.

Y'know what? This game is not as good as the first one, but I will recommend it.

Cons: Playing DPS is supposed to be fun for most people, but I reflect the opinion I keep hearing, which is that DPS is the least fun to play in this instalment.

They try to make the game more fun by nerfing everyone until they are no longer fun, then they release new characters that they intend to be overpowered so more people play them, so they can report back to their superiors that the character was a success.

I don't like loot boxes, but at least in the first game, getting a loot box for free every level meant I got a new cosmetic. In this game, they've done away with loot boxes and brought in a battlepass. The free version does give you the new in-game currency, which you can save up to buy a premium battlepass one day... which sucks. It takes WAY longer to get any cosmetics at all.

I have to mention the forced "inclusivity" the game provides. Yes, they have fallen into the modern trope of thinking that you want to play as ugly and annoying characters, but I can't fault them too hard because they also have attractive characters in the game.

Pros: Through all of those cons, I gotta say, getting back into the game... I'm just having fun. I hop in with the boys, I don't care about competitive play, and it's just not rage inducing. I love not caring about it and just having fun. That's it, that's the only pro. It's just straight up, a fun game with great music, animations, gun play... and it's free. If you haven't tried it, just try it. Then uninstall it if you don't like it. The end.

This game is what Arkham Asylum did for the Batman franchise. The first game was great, but this one really got it right.

I installed this game thinking that it looks interesting, like a free For Honor but more whacky. I figured I could get passed any mildly janky combat animations because it's free. I could not. The animations aren't horrible, but Naraka: Bladepoint is f2p now and Nexon also made Blade and Soul, a f2p mmorpg with better animations.

This game is just not fun enough to play for more than an hour, and most of that time I was cringing so hard at the character selections, which if you find humour in cringey stuff might make it worth looking into, it's pretty bad.

This game is like if Dynasty Warriors wasn't goofy. Sounds like a bad thing to be honest, but it is actually very fun.

The combat is a less-stylised version of a For Honor or Chivalry type of fighting. It is not as flashy but still very satisfying, especially with javelins. They even made fighting on horseback fun somehow.

This game is basically a way more involved Civilization instalment.

Watch DeadlySlob's recent playthrough on YouTube, it's probably the best way for you to make your decision on getting this beautiful game.

By the description it seems like the developer is using this game to teach others? Or for personal learning themselves. It's well executed for what it is and I would love to learn from this dude if he really is teaching

This game is free and 100MB to download. It is WAY more fun than I expected. I would have easily paid around $5 for this game, maybe even more. It is simplistic, yet satisfying and rewarding. I've almost got 11 hours in this game so far, which is more than I would have guessed, and I plan to put in even more hours. You've done it Dani, you've accidentally made a really good game

The dev started deving again! The game is only $3 and well worth it in my opinion. Seems like he's actually wanting to finish what he started. It's super fun and I highly recommend it, please support this dev for actually coming back!

If the dev is reading this, please add a slide mechanic in the next update, that would be so cool!

I've been banned from this game for well over a year now. They have not given me a reason why, I have not cheated, I have not hacked, hell I wasn't even that good at the game if I'm being honest.

Despite multiple attempts to correct this with the support team, I have not received so much as a reply.

I genuinely would like to play this game with my friends, THE SAME FRIENDS I PLAYED WITH WHEN I WAS BANNED, but I cannot, and I have literally no clue as to why.
