A fantastic refresh of the payday series, looking forward to the future updates!

Ima be honest, feels unfinished? At least if there was a tutorial i missed it... Based on the reviews I expected a chill game, chill experience, and there seemed to be some of that there, but I just don't quite get it. The music seems alright, but has the feeling of a piano slapped over the game and not really matching up with the gameplay.

Another part of why I can't recommend is probably because I have plenty of hours on Don't Starve, so I definitely just got used to and prefer their challenging gameplay.

The gameplay goes crazy. The art goes insane. This game goes insane. Losing is the ultimate skill issue can confirm.

downside (something no one is really mentioning)- the game is very much visually cluttered, its difficult to memorize the card based on how it looks; the number/text on the card is the best tell as to what the card does. A mod that simplified each card's portrait would be the way to go.

you can spam cards all you want as long as you save specific ones for the bosses (bad rng very much exists tho)

While it may be random, it's your job to find the winning line you piece.

Its amazing, and I look forward to future updates! So simple, yet its nailed the necessities that makes a game. Steam workshop would go hard for real
