This game promotes highly on teamplays, assisting others as well as communicating with your fellow teammates.

There are 2 roles that you can play in this game:

* As a human survivor *

You will spend just as much time protecting, helping and healing your teammates as the difficulty progresses. Everything from sharing resources to pulling them up off of a ledge. Leaving a teammate behind decreases your chances of survival and running off on your own almost always ends tragically. Hence, you will come to realise that it is fun sticking together and helping one another.

**As a special infected (e.g. Smoker, Boomer, Charger, Jockey, Tank, etc...) [Only in versus mode] **

Similar plays are executed from a different perspective. Only when the team that plans and works together as a whole will prevent the survivors from progressing the stage and winning. Attacking alone rarely has much of an effect since you'll get focused as soon as you are spotted, but there are a few opportunities that allows zombie heroics (like the coveted death charge).

This game offers many competitive modes with different difficulty levels of your choice. It also brings teamplay to a whole new level as you challenge higher difficulty as you progress.
