As a newcomer to the Ys series, and this being the first one I've played, I loved this game. Amazing story that didn't leave me bored anywhere throughout it, great cast a of characters that are all loveable, fast and fun gameplay that isn't hard to master, and oh boy, the soundtrack was so good, at times it had me just sitting there listening to it. Sure they could have fleshed out the side characters a little bit more than they did, but still fine work overall.
