Fun game with great concepts however I feel like there are a few things that hold this game back from being it's best self.
Positives:
There is an Incredibly well done and nostalgic atmosphere to it that just draws you in, the cars drive very well and you can feel the speed of the car as you drive making it extremely satisfying to just go straight down a long road as fast as possible.
The Car customisation mechanics are incredibly well thought out too with plenty of ways to deck out your vehicle there is an opportunity to tune the car exactly to your liking.


Negatives:
The Map and GPS system is very low resolution and unclear making it very difficult to determine which turn to make (Even with camera filters disabled), this problem is exacerbated in races where you only have a short amount of time to make your decision, and if you're wrong you've automatically lost the race. This is incredibly frustrating especially in high stakes races. It would be great if there was a way to possibly preview the race before hand to actually know where to go instead of relying on mostly luck when the roads split. Another option would be to allow for HUD customisation to allow players to find the right balance between realism and legibility for them.

I also feel like there should be way more places to switch sides of the road. In the current state of the map, You're placed on a side of road based on the race you just came out of, and you're essentially forced to stick to it until you reach your destination, this can make some places take significantly longer to get to as you have to take long detours and U-turns which greatly reduce the flow and fun of driving.

♥♥♥♥. When you play it flashes colours hurting your eyes and it wont stop flashing purple
