One of the first games I ever bought and I'd say I'm pretty impressed with how simple yet cool this game really is. The game is simple to learn, yet hard to master. You have to keep sending certain shapes related to their station which I actually like since this is technically a strategy game. Maps and modes are pretty solid, but the only thing that bugs me is the music in some circumstances.

I would rate this game a 9/10 for it's simple yet addictive gameplay, but the music gets on my nerves a little

Recommended for people who like management and strategy games

How to make a good HL2 Mod:

1. Don't recopy a bunch of ♥♥♥♥
2. Have a good story rather than a run-n-gun type of game
3. Make stuff original
4. Make a good alternate world

This game does all of that, so you should play it.

Ok I know I played for a short time, but at least you know how a new person feels to a game like this.

This I have to say is an outstanding "choices matter" game. It reminds me of the game "Until Dawn", but more of a cartoonish look towards it.

Story: The story is simple yet it is still commonly used, teenagers make a mistake and it goes comepletely wrong. As generic as it sounds Night School Studios did a fantastic job to make common stories combine with fantasy and reality.

Choices: I know that this is a choice matter game, but I still have to give props with this mechanic. No matter what you say or what you do first the effect will always be random. Example, I told Alex's brother to dump Clarissa and he actually took me advice, making the ending completely different. I told that to Alex's bother halfway in the game. Each choice you make can change the way each character acts towards you. Like I told Jonas he had "average smarts" and he was actually made at me for about the next 3 stages. And every choice may have a consequence too, and you might not even notice.

Characters: Every character has the classic theme for every horror movie: the nerd, the jock, the shy one, the b**ch, and the leader. Each character might act typical to the way they act, but you never know what they actually might say. Since the game is with teenagers and not mature adults, choices might change each character's attitude towards you and yes I did say this earlier.

Although every game has pros, there are always cons.

Time/Transportation: Since the game is base off of an island there are not really any cars, so the only way around the island is walking and you walk SO SLOW.

Story can be easily confusing: Sometimes if people analyze the game for a long time they might become confused how or why they are doing something.

Besides that this is a very well made game, I'd give it a 9/10

Besides Outlast, this is one amazing horror game for several reasons.

Story Rich: I've watched and played lots of horror games and about 80% of them have the same thing, just run away from monsters and don't get killed. However, this game does have the same aspect, but has more to it. Every stage or "chapter" you complete allows the story to become more clear and you become more interested about what will happen next.

Characters: The personality for each character makes the story a little more "light-hearted" as time goes on. Instead of the game feeling completely dark and terrifying, you might get some jokes to reassure yourself that these are people, not robots. The main character and "Red" were a great mixture to show how a game's plot can really be.

Mixture of puzzles and horror: Puzzles and horror are wierd genres to blend with each other, but for this game they did it perfectly. This is a game that forces you to be brave because you have to focus solving puzzles while also trying to hide from monsters in the shadows, which makes it scarier.

Music: During certain points if the story you hear different music throughout the game. Some for puzzles, some for hiding. Music can give people unsettling feelings in certain situations and this game did it fantastically from start to finish.

Graphics: For a game made in 2007 the graphics are actually pretty good. Not much to say about this part, like if graphics are good they're good.

This game is not worth your time, I recommend War Thunder instead. The game is buggy and for me it's a walking simulator when there is no action, or if there is any action :P
