This man is Jesus, our lord and savior, he has returned and taken this form to determine who is worthy of going to heaven and who will remain on earth during the apocalypse, those he keeps closest to him are his disciples and those whom he blesses with the touch of his hand are said to be those who are worthy of heaven.
