Neat

Absolutely fantastic even if I remembered Generations itself more fondly xD
Now especially with the drop dash theres just too much on one button.
Jump, Homing Attack, Drop Dash, Air Dash. just too much.
Also in comparison to the Shadow Generations controlls, they are much more... clunky to say the least.
Some bosses are also still a bit janky, but oh well.

Sonic Generations itself I would describe as a pretty Okay game, but sadly it doesn't hold up as well as I wished.

Shadow Generations on the other hand...

Absolutely fantastic!!!
Great controlls, great visuals, great story, great animations, great level design, great abilities, and mostly great music (didn't like the Frontiers/Chaos Island stage music that much, other than that tho, very nice!

This game shows that Sonic Team really has got it again and hopefully they'll keep this formula for future Sonic games.
Honestly now that I have played it, I would have payed the money for just Shadow Generations alone.
Well maybe it would have needed to be a bit longer, but still, this was an absolute freaking blast!

I had an absolute freaking blast playing this, I kinda wanna play some other R&C games now!

Endlich nach all den Jahren mal wieder ein gutes Sonic Game!

Alles in allem ist es eine 7.5/10 für mich,
ich hatte wirklich Spaß an dem Game und fand vor allem die Story auch mal wirklich interessant. Sie mag vielleicht nicht atemberaubend sein, aber im Vergleich zu den Spielen der letzten 15 Jahre ist es wirklich mal schön etwas zu haben wo man sich danach dann nochmal ein Video drüber angucken möchte (geht zumindest mir so haha)

Das Gameplay sowie die Cutscenes (und das Acting und posing in diesen) hat aber seine Macken, die Steuerung in den Cyberspace Leveln finde ich teils echt miserabel und teils in Ordnung.

Und in den Open-Zone 2D passagen hat mich gestört, dass man aus manchen nicht mehr so leicht wieder in die normale 3D Welt ausbrechen kann.

Dafür ist aber die Steuerung in der Open Zone erstaunlich gut (hab alles auf Standardsettings gelassen )

Dann gibts da noch den ein oder anderen Guardian der echt ein Pain ist zu bekämpfen, aber denen bin ich dann gegen Ende auch nur aus dem Weg gegangen (Caterpillar war das glaube ich...)

Für Jemanden der absolut keine Art von Fighting Game oder Kombo Kampfspiel oder Whatever gespielt hat, war das Combat in Frontiers echt ganz cool

btw. Steam ist weird ich hab über 18 Stunden in dem Game glaube, weil ich teilweise ohne Internet gespielt habe oder weil es Probleme mit dem Synchronisieren gab oder so

You can really see where bioshock learned from the mistakes of systemshock. The first game, and it was the enhanced edition, crashed 5 times on me in only 40 Minutes of gameplay and this games hitboxes (especially the monkeys) are so bad that I will just not force to play myself even longer. Which is quite sad, I liked the beginning. Also why tf do you need to skill before you can use a basic f**kin pistol?
