Fluid combat, stellar levels, excellent soundtrack. No game has had me feel better when a plan falls apart, and I have to staple it back together. Sometimes information can be a little sparse, but experiment and you'll master it. There's always a way.

As I reinforced, I watched helplessly as my squadmates scrambled to escape the Bile Titan's wrath. Lo, as the camera swept up to my hellpod, an idea was born in the black matter of my brain. The four-legged beast did display itself profanely below mine carriage of iron, its form still, as one might be when deciding what insect they might crush next. Yet twas I who fell upon it, my body and soul a boot; they say that a three legged stool cannot stand, but a four legged stool that finds itself without a seat is but a pile of sticks. And so did I return the beast to the soil and rose from its gore, a soldier ready to commit every fiber of my being to combat, a creature that was made to rip asunder the beasts that bay at our gates.

Then T4 didn't check his ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ line of fire and domed my ass. GG.

Plays good, controls good, feels good. Hush up and buy it, you've earned it this week.

A truly wonderful game. It's rare to see any game "get" what makes eldrich horror so special, and the crew nailed it. The combination of story, gameplay and tone lead to this title being both relaxing and nerve-wracking at the same time. Nothing feels gratuitous, and maybe the strangest thing of all is that I could genuinely recommend this to parents. Like, the game doesn't have gore, swearing, or any content that could be considered "adult." It's just a bunch of cool and spooky fish. Next Halloween I might get my niece to play this. She'll probably never forgive me but I think it'll be funny.

Superb. It embraces everything that made the original good while allowing for growth and mild pruning. A Resident Evil for the modern age, and one that elevates almost every single detail of the original. A triumph for survival horror, a genre whose death was greatly exaggerated. And above all else, fun as all get out. Buy it. Play it.

Blood + Resident Evil 4

This game is a triumph in every sense, the creativity of the level design, the excellent arsenal, the amount of tech. The fact that the game design, level design, art, music, sounds, and animations were all done by a single developer is not just impressive, it's impossible. Cultic is an impossible game, one that theoretically cannot exist. But it does, you can play it, and you should.

Currently, a phenomenal game. It manages to have a solid combat system while keeping the threat of unknowable horrors constantly oppressive, but never too much that it prevents the game from being fun to play. Even as of now, while there are several gripes that I have, such as the exorcism combat being a bit rough around the edges, and a *slightly* lackluster end level, the number of additions and changes that have been added in just the past month alone, as well as modding, more than make World of Horror worth the price it is right now. I imagine in the future it will begin to feel as if we have scammed the devs out of what should be a much more expensive game.
