I'd give this a middle but since we have a recommend and not recommend, I had to give it a recommended. Note that my original view was also in middle and I did NOT recommend it so what changed?

I got some of my friends playing it! And that is the sole reason I changed my mind. Randoms are not fun to play with. If you are in this with 2 of your friends, (yes it must be 2 because the teams are of 3 players and randoms are 90% extremely bad) you will have a blast playing it. Just goofing around, yoinking cash registers on the last second and winning by using your brain and collaborating with your friends is really satisfying and enjoyable.

If you are looking for competitive gaming though, this is not it. Definitely no balance whatsoever. There are also blatant cheaters here and there even in non-ranked modes. Easy anti cheat is in-fact, easy to cheat lmao.

It has been a while since I have killed this many civilians in a game.

Hey at least this time it really is unintentional... Right?

You remember those good ol' times where playing games gave you some kind of excitement every time you get on to the PC? Now you think, I'm friggin' old so that is probably why I am not as thrilled as before right?

WRONG.

This game (the original one) is 20+ years old and it is 100x better than any other story-driven "RPG" game that is released for years. I launched this game thinking it would be another Steam purchase that I'll play it for 30mins and forget about it. Boy I was wrong. If you are lacking that thrill playing video games these days, just play this. The narrative, the story, the music, even the graphics(of the definitive edition) are simply amazing. The reworked mechanics still hold and does not feel clunky at all. Simplified, pure gameplay with great thrilling story.

A reminder that 99% of the so called "AAA" studios suck-ass and you cannot deny it.

I donno man. I'm having an absolute blast playing this. It really is a nice mixture of dungeon crawler and city management. Also comes with a cool story and side quests. Definitely try it on while its on sale!

I just wish somehow there could be a coop option to this. Maybe an added DLC? Or for the second game perhaps?

I donno if y'all trippin or not but this is a better overall game than DL1. The only downsides are the easier night chases and the story compared to the original title. Other than that, everything is improved over and Techland keep giving us more and more. Definitely worth a buy.

Just gimme more of this Capcom.

So imma be short with this, hear me out.

I mean, it is pretty fun and engaging game so far. The sniper mechanics are not on a sim level but the game manages to find a good balance between realistic and fun in that manner. My huge problem is this:

When you disable HUD and radar and all, for more immersion, you can't select secondary equipment (nades, drones, meds etc.) properly because a part of the HUD IS the equipment selection wheel... At least gimme an animation of how much ammo left in my weapon's mag (and how many mags I have left) when I press a button like in Tarkov damnit. You also lose the subtitles too since it is also a HUD element. Like technically yes it is but wtf lol.

We need more accessibility options for the game. I don't want any HUD or assistance from our latest-tech headgear but I need to see what the fkkk I chose for my secondary equipment when I'm trying to throw a knife at my enemy in full stealth. It doesn't help when yo boi Raven throws a live grenade on the lap of a militia grunt instead of a knife...

All in all, it is a fun little game where you can just relax and play for fun. Definitely wait for a discount though.

I loved everything except a Mr. X following you around at all times. That is too much for my already stressful life :'(

I have never played any Resident Evil game in my all 15 years of gaming life because I'm a scaredy-ass but oh boi have I missed so much! (No way I would be able to play this in FPS view. Thank god Cap-com gave a TPS option. I cri.)

I also need non-horror games but based on the exact inventory mechanics and some other kind of tension.

10/10 would ♥♥♥♥ my pants but keep on playing again.
