Skyrim is an open world RPG, in simple words its about a character who will have to bear the title and the power of being the dragonborn of that era, he will have to surpass a lot of challenges and tasks to gain respect and honor his title of dragonborn.

At first glance this game was very appealing or catching because the graphics were very new and unique in the time that was released, the stories and the plot in general are very well written and presented. You don`t need to be experienced in the saga of "Elder Scrolls" or to be skilled in rpg games, because the difficulty of the game and the level of the enemies are absolutely balanced and these balance changes depending on your level. Another thing to add is that skyrim itself helps you with a lot of tips and alternatives to achieve your goals. The design of the map and the cities are very diverse and each city has its own society that are different and that you will have the chance to be part of each one of the different societies. One downside is that the combat and design of the missions could become into something repetitive for some persons. This is because combat in skyrim could be limited to some extent, despite having a lot of alternatives to fight each horde of rivals you may get bored after a few runs, also some enemies IA is not well designed and you may see troubles or bugs going on. The design of the missions is something distintictive of Bethesda, like in other games such as FNV or F4 or F3 most of the time the design is going from a point A to B going through some enemies in the way.
We should not forget about the mods and the community of skyrim, the mods add a lot of new and enjoyable ways of playing skyrim, the community is still alive and they are working on mods and new ideas all the time. One last thing to add is that the game is replayable and you can make each run be a different story, from changing the story and the traits of the MC to a lot of other alternatives and choices that you can make during the run.

To sum up, the game is pretty much a must-play for me, time for skyrim has passed really well and even if the game is almost 10 years old it has been updated a lot throughout the years. The dlcs are enjoyables and they add a lot of new and original content to the game.The special edition is not very well optimized and if you can`t handle high graphics I would suggest you to buy the vanilla version.
