So poorly optimized makes it nearly unplayable compared to FH5 and FM7.

I've never seen a game that looks so bad at Ultra settings in 1080p. The texture pop in / loading issue makes trees and bushes appear and disappear within 10ft of the car. Trash

It took like 24 hours to get used to controls and be halfway decent. Now it feels like I'm playing Skate back in the day but way better. Awesome game once you get the hang of it

Physics feel like the car is on ice. Peak Angle physics were far better. Should have added new content to that game instead of making this one. Not worth the money at all.

EDIT: This original review was with "downforce" at 0% as I did in Peak Angle because it made the car most realistic. When putting "downforce" on 100% it made the game playable. Downforce in real life does not apply to a car going sideways... Which is confusing. Maybe change that term to something else? Overall I think the game is pretty decent and worth the money. I wrote the "TUNING GUIDE" on the Peak Angle forums and I'm sure some of you were familiar with it. I have a very good understanding of tuning and upgrades in this platform. Furidashi feels more realistic than Peak Angle but takes a lot of getting used to. The car no longer counter steers for you as much as it did in PA so you have to put in more steering inputs, which is great. My only complaint so far is that online I get a 20 fps frame rate drop no matter what graphics settings I have on. 60 fps normal gameplay, 40 fps online. It makes it hard to be competitive because drifting is such a high fps action. If y'all could optimize online for better fps this game would be near perfect. Love the chat features and new online lobby. Looking forward to seeing more development.
