It's basically just Fallout in space. Don't expect anything more or anything less.

It's sort of like Dark Souls except the combat revolves more around deflecting attacks rather than dodging them. It might be hard to break the muscle memory built up from playing Dark Souls if you have played it before. The story is also easier to follow than it is in Dark Souls. Basically, If you like Dark Souls you will probably like this.

Dark Souls III is easily one of my favorite games of all time, and for good reason. The Dark Souls series is masterclass in world building, environmental story telling and it's Legend of Zelda style combat. But it and other FromSoftware titles seem to scratch an itch for me that no other video game franchises really do. From it's deep lore to it's extremely fun multiplayer and game play, there really isn't anything else like it. I wholeheartedly recommend Dark Souls 3 (and the first one) to anyone willing to give it a shot.
