Game is (almost) everything we wanted it to be, and I'm confident that within the next year it will exceed our original expectations.
If you were a fan of Warband, you'll absolutely LOVE Bannerlord.

Pretty much the same game we all played as kids, just with a mouse and keyboard.

My only major complaint with the game is the armour customisation. At the moment, you have to unlock tokens which grant you access to armour in a linear order. Basically, if you want a certain helmet, or even shoulder or knee pads, you need to level up by playing multiplayer public games in order to gain access to them. It's not like on Xbox where you'd get credits to buy armour, it's literally one token per level, which you can unlock one piece of armour at a time. This is really bad system. It's not game ruining, but it kind of kills my immersion in the campaign, where I want to go for a certain look, but can't.

I'm still giving this a positive review, as I love the game play, but the customisation needs to change.

I ended up playing for 8 hours straight. Let's just say that after realising I played for so long, the sun had come up again.

If you enjoyed games such as The Elder Scrolls Oblivion, The Witcher, and any other similar games I have forgotten, then this is the game for you.

Don't listen to the bad reviews. The game is in EARLY ACCESS. If you can't handle a few bugs, which by the way, DO NOT break the game, then don't buy a game which is 3 months old.
The gameplay is very fun, especially in team games, where you can play with a mate and own the arena.
The devs are absolutely fantastic, and push out a patch every 2 weeks.
The only downside to the culling is that the population on the Oceania servers is extremely low. You can basically only find FFA games on it. Now, don't let this deter you from buying the game! The more people that play the game, the faster the queue times will be.
Hopefully this review has at the very least convinced you to try this game. Even if you refund after 2 weeks, at least give this game a go. If it isn't up to your standards, pick it up in a few months :)
