This game is absolutely painfull at the start
i died every 10 seconds and after 10 hours I'm past the gaping dragon and reaaally getting into the game
what starts off as absolute pain, torture and mysery and loot dissapearing and overly the most punishing game mechanics you can think off, becomes an absolute thrilling ride after getting to a level where you start to feel less scared of each and every single enemy. The level design is absolutely amazing as you will get hints and notes of whats coming next and go through this labyrinth with no idea whats gonna be behind every corner.
Let this one suck you in and don't give up after the first 2 hours. It becomes progressively more rewarding once you hit that sweet spot and start figuring out whats going on

if you don't mind reloading and being frustrated as ♥♥♥♥ every 8.5 seconds, you'll discover the beauty of this game
it's a polished title for sure, even though the story is pretty ♥♥♥♥ & the dialogue is the standard cliché sci-fi alien rubbish
the gameplay is pretty deep and well-crafted
overall: worth it for sure

Only been playing for about 20-30 hours, yet to scratch too much of its surface though I can honestly say as a huge fallout 3 + DLC fan & NV partly too:

Positive:
-Graphics & atmosphere are pretty good in my opinion, the landscape is filled with detail and though there are some obvious low texture issues, I still feel very immersed in this world
-Gunplay and overall combat is vastly improved and more 'correct' than in the previous games
-The companions seem more alive and easier in use in terms of equipping gear & handing out orders
-Interesting weapons mods, crafting system and alchemy which is very usefull
-I do like the perk system as far as I've been able to go through it

Negative:
-Story is very lackluster for a fallout game, in my opinion (a lot of cliche & dissapointing dialogue)
-Very little choice in how to play your character (I was mostly a semi-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥/bad-ass character and I feel too pushed in the 'do good' direction here since being someone bad doesn't seem to benefit me)
-No real 'grand' stuff has happened yet, as random triggered quests, towns exploding etc in the 30 hours I've played which is not exactly what I expected
-Power suit doesn't really work all that well for me, it's simply something I hardly use or find worthy of chasing

60+ hours in i still feel like there's hardly any quest worth playing and the writing is pretty terrible, bland and boring
i hope they'll step up their game in future DLC..

As far as free to play games go: this is probably the best game out there,
simple as that.

I've been playing on and off for so long & right now I feel like I want to play another game

(only down side there is is the time you're literally throwing away, since it's adictive and matches take +- 50 (!) mins)

Even if your computer can't bulk out enough power to set every graphical option on raw max visuals and you've got to settle with just a little less, let's say high and the hairworks toned down a little, you still get a fantastic looking game.
That said the ammount of detail and content they've put into this game is seldom seen in recent gaming history.
If you're a fan of bethesda's epic fallout games and elder scrolls series you'll be amazed with this game and it's engaging storyline and sidequests. The characters are fantastic, the choices you get to make are somewhat 'realistic' in the way you'd actually want to choose some of the dialogue options and i've only played for about 80 hours and I feel like I haven't seen half of it yet.

A big plus is the save from your previous epic witcher 2 expirience will be transfered over to this game and change your story in that fashion!

To put it short: if you're an RPG fan this is probably the best game you'll be playing for the next year(s) or at least untill we get to match this game to the likes of Fallout 4.

Couldn't really commit to finish the 1st one in the series, since there was a lack of quality in my eyes
graphics were appalling, voice animations were beyond terrible, story seemed lackluster & the combat was ♥♥♥♥

well then you have the 2nd one in the series which does better in almost every single aspect possible:
fantastic dialogues, characters, stories, more fluent combat and questlines etc.
not to mention to this day: it still looks fantastic compared to most games of that period that would instantly feel out-dated to this day.

I'm currently finishing up just to get my hands on the 3rd installment of the series as fast as I can!
If you haven't made your mind up about this game: give it a try and if you're a fan of more serious storyline/dialogue mixed with a hint of sensuality and serious savageness you're in for a treat.
