Early Access Review
If I could give this a sideways thumb for "ok", I would. Its not bad, but its not great. I understand this is early access but there is not a lot to keep this game fresh. This is ultimately Tarkov lite, and frankly, you are better off playing that if you enjoy Looter Shooters. I am personally not a fan of these types of games, so keep that in mind as I describe things. I come from Hunt, Squad, and Isonzo, so I have a different range of FPS games with different paces and the like. The game did not immediately grab me, which was my first indication that I would not like it, thus my short playtime. But it was enough time to see everything pretty much...

Here are my findings:
-This is not a game where you can just jump in and have instant action, there is action, but you gotta work up to it.
-Yet another inventory managing simulator (not a problem if you like Tarkov)
-The AI will swarm you like and ocean of zombies with guns. I suspect this will be later, but currently if you fight AI, expect to fight them all. There is no time to loot without a battalion of AI coming to you. What makes this worse, is that other players will come to gank you in the fight. This wouldnt be a problem if it wasnt for the fact that you burned through all your ammo and supplies fighting the zombie hordes.
-The guns are way too dang jumpy, jesus. 9mm jumps around like you are shooting a full rifle. To make matters worse, you bullets produce so much smoke out of the barrel that you are practically helping the enemy become obscured in the gunfire, only thing to save you is that the enemy also cant see you in their smoke...just who decided that this was a good mechanic (ooooo bullets make smoke, so clearly they are fog machines....).
-There is no serious downside to using the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ship, just haul ass to the port and have at it. Ship fighting is only a thing if you really seek it out. Most games are a race to the station and only certain folks are there to ship board.

As a note, what I expected from the ads and the game was a more fps focused game where you did more ship to ship combat and ship boarding. Instead, its another rat race where everyone is too busy creeping around, too worried to breath too loud. This is where my interest in these games disappears, I just do not like this scaredy-cat type of gameplay, grow a pair and face your fears lol. I was genuinely enthusiastic about this game, but it immediately died when I realized it is basically Tarkov casual. From an actual content perspective (my game preference set aside), the early access really shows. There is not a lot to do, plain and simple. The quests are nice, but offer no real indication of where or how to complete.

Again, not bad, but not great. Its meh. Definitely not worth the hype or $30 in its current state. I would recommend $20. But, if you love the looter shooters, you will probably enjoy.
