Foundation feels like the perfect City-Builder games Ive ever played, and one of the few that can be played at a relaxing pace. Whereas others like Banished require you to micromanage your peeps and resources, especially in the early game, Foundation lets you play at your own pace, and infact, limits (via Prosperity) how fast you can pace yourself.

In addition to being a relaxing game, its also both very beginner-friendly AND tryhard-friendly, because you can either choose to accept the advice or go on your own, and because there are plenty of mods and modding support that allow you to make your game as vanilla or as sophisticated as you like. Also, you can create your own map and decide how user-friendly the terrain is making it either easy or hard to expand your city and build new villages.

A functioning town/villages do require a little bit of pre-planning of resource supply chains and city layouts (i.e. placing Residential areas near Resource Extraction areas (so as to keep Commute times low and Production rates high), placing Storage (Granaries/Warehouses) near Resource buidings that either NEED or PRODUCE the resources in them, and placing Residential areas in Desirable areas, away from Resource Extraction areas).

Lastly, Foundations has constantly received updates and bugfixes from the Devs, and who have recently announced that the NEXT UPDATE will be the FULL RELEASE of the game, which makes it one of the few City Builders that have not been abandoned by the Dev's while still in ER after only a few years.

Very in-depth aerial simulation. Amazing graphics and physics. It is extremely realistic and historically accurate.

Can be very tactical if played in squads and on a TS server or other comm. system. very fun even when your a pug. the only downside to this game is the devs seem to have a lot of minipatchs after a big patch (4-5 <12hrs after patch release).

Very fun and entertaining to see enemies disintigrate upon contact with large cannon and rockets.

Hawken is a great game. It combines aspects from Mechwarriors, Call of Duty, Battlefield, and Assassins Creed. I have played this game alot and must say that if the developers keep on track they will have a world-class F2P very soon. Unfortunately however, once you buy your first mech its a massive grind for credits. I dont know why the devs made it like this. Maybe to make it hard to cheat the system and get higher tier mechs quickly. Whatever the case, the only thing negative I have to say about Hawken is the grind, and that there are very limited weapons in a war where everything is made from junk. It seems that the armament possiblities could be endless, i.e. grappling hooks. net launchers, grapeshot shotguns, and tactical bombs such as smoke, flare, flashbang, and Hi Heat Emission bombs (of course on a bigger scale to match the ingame mechs).

If you have/want DayZ, you will like this game. aside from the usual problems of a beta like a couple bugs and glitches (which have mostly been fixed since ER status) Rust is a well-made, fun and interesting game, and whether or not you play it alone or with a clan, it is an extremely tactical game. Especially on large servers, the wars and skirmishes that can take place are astonishing. several days ago i dropped into a random server of about 25-30 people. I was immediately assigned a team and TP'ed to the teams base where I meant everyone, suited up, given a job, room to sleep (their base was built like a medevial castle, existing in the south), and participated for several hours in a massive 25 v. 25 war between the teams on the server. there we several battles, day and night, but we ended up winning. after that it was rebuilding for a day and back to it. Such exemplifies the broad spectrum of possibilities in this game. I recommend this game to any and everyone who likes games like Skyrim, DayZ, 7 Days to Die, and Minecraft.

Extremely entertaining game. Unfortunately, its also extremely difficult at first and doesnt really get much easier as you play. the game sorely needs a different citizen occupation assignment system such as the Age of Mythology/Age of Empires box select system. Other than that. i recommend this game to anyone who loved Age of Mythology/Age of Empires. Despite the downsides, I find myself playing it often. I have yet to get it to a science but from what I've experienced, this is a brillant concept, and is worth every penny of the cheap price.
