This feels like a game from a bygone era in a good way. A linear arena brawler with a weird west ascetic. No bloated open world, no battle pass, no tacked on DLC. Feels like something I'd pick at GameStop 15 years ago.

I'm a SWAT Officer in So-Cal, not a Ranger in Mogadishu. Every level starts and ends with a bunch of wack-jobs with aim bot and no sense of self-preservation trying to kill you. Less lethals do jack-all and you have resort to killing all the suspects. Am I SWAT Officer or a SEAL kicking down doors in Fallujah? The only way to beat these levels is to wager your cracked-out AI teammates vs their cracked-out AI. You have to cheese the AI like Tarkov and that is hard to do in some maps where you have to take some alive. Plus you have to unlock the missions and some them are poorly designed (Ides of March and Mindjot).

I am going to shoot myself if i have to do that chicken grind again.

This is a fun story driven FPS not an immersive-sim. First hour starts off slow, but upgrade your glove, hit up the testing grounds and loot everything that isn't bolted down. Make sure you scan enemies for weakness and use the appropriate cartridges to get around the bullet spongy enemies.

First of all I've bought the hype train, I never got onto the UWU kiannu Reeves bandwagon. I bought this when it was on sale, although for what its worth i think it was worth it. You are getting decent action-rpg, most of your problems are going to be solved with bullets. Dialogue is Fallout 4, Yes/No Nomad/Corpo/Street Kid variations. Voice acting casting is great and Night City feels as alive as Los Santos. If you like shooters buy it.
