Disclaimer: The only reason that I don't recommend this game is because of the performance issues on PC. These issues are still prevalent even after the latest patch (re-release), and greatly detract from the game. Now that that's out of the way...

The actual game is fantastic. Even if you've played the previous games to death, the combat will still feel pretty fresh and rewarding. The story is also pretty good. When I finished the game I was kinda blown away by all the twists that are crammed into this game. If you are an avid Batman fan then you might be disappointed by where the story goes, but there are still many rewarding parts of the story for you. Some of the side missions do feel tacked on, but they will also surprise you in the best possible way - trust me! Perhaps the best part of this game is the presentation. Every scene in the game feels "hand-crafted" in a way... Like the developers sat down and said, "How can we make this look dank af?" They probably also had a similar discussion about the textures as they are extremely detailed. Even if you zoom in on objects their level of detail still holds up.

Too bad then that all this hard work goes to waste on the PC port. If there were a few stutters here and there, then I would be okay with it. But this game is plagued by stuttering and low frame-rates. It's disappointing that the actual enjoyment of such a stellar game can be marred by something that WB promised to fix so long ago, and that Nvidia should have picked up on after sponsoring the game with their new graphics cards. If you really want to get it on PC then wait until they actually fix it properly.

TL;DR: Great game, don't buy it on PC.
