I think this is a unpolished gem definitely needs some work but you got something special here. The game is fun, the theme is great for a beat em up game, "vengeance" its simple, its violent, and it works. These are some things that I think need fixing or need to be added that could make the game a true gem:


1. some animations don't make sense for example like how he uses the fireman axe like a machete. combat animations need more variety and polish.

2. Boss feels like fighting a wall add some staggering animations for it when the boss gets hit.

3. Difficulty is very easy now, but that's fine its a demo.

4. the Lock in system is a bit awkward I would go the Arkham direction and choose a directional focus instead.

5. Remove the kill count from the story mode leave the arcadey stuff for the Arena mode only. Or at least just remove it from the screen.

6. It looks like you are trying to make a violent and bloody game its in the name and the hit marks but, don't be scared to add some gore to it, the boss gets chainsaw'd and the body was intact.. kinda feels off get more brutal break some arms and legs in those finishers let the blades make some lacerations( not necessarily dismemberment since its hard to do dismemberment without looking cartooney) but adding some brutality to this game could give more punch to it.

7. Environmental attacks feel a bit undercooked.. the player just kicks everything, those need some work too.

The Precinct Demo is an enjoyable experience that leaves you wanting more. If the full game matches this quality, the game will be a success. Really looking forward to look at what this game has to offer, looks like the game gives you a lot of freedom and a variety of police related activities looking forward to it.

Related to performance, I did noticed a low fps count around 60 to 70 fps which I believe it was surprisingly low for a top down game, but this might be related to this being a demo. More options related to graphic adjustments would be appreciated.


On a second note, Would love to see some customization for the cop, like choose if wearing the hat or not, jacket no jacket, different types of jackets, etc ..

Please update for modern resolutions!

Quantum Break is a highly underrated masterpiece, definitely ahead of its time as usual with Remedy and what they were trying to do. Great story, great characters, combat is fun, even the miniseries part is entertaining which was a daring step from Remedy.
