i like it but the automation isnt good enough. the arms will only ever put 2-4 units of whatever into whatever in the supply chain. i spent an hour setting up an auto research machine and because of the above issue the things are backed up for days on the low end of the supply chain and UNBELIEVEBLY scarce at the top of it! i found it simply faster to move everything by hand since you can drop FULL stacks into processing machines that you can just come back later to and fill up! THIS NEEDS WORK DEVS FIX THIS!!

ok after 7 hours of playing

short version-you like to wait for a bus to show up? you like standing around doing nothing? youd like to play a game where you hit one button then go do some laundry not playing the game? then THIS IS FOR YOU!!! waiting simulator 2016, build a base with interesting ideas and automate stuff, then when you get gun turrets and walls automate the research items and go do something else while the game takes 45 mins to complete one thing and you do nothing but wait around!!

its ok not great as people say, research IS WAYYYYYY TOOOO SLOOOOWWWWW the 7 hours ive played ive researched like 6 things with multiple labs, ive just finished cars, i even upgraded the labs twice STILL too slow with 40% increase its a good 30-35 min wait for stuff to finish. automation isnt efficient at all, it NEEDS to have the arms put more materials into the devices for production. the top of the supply chain is scarce with materials while the bottom is overly abundant! the game pauses when looking on the research screen which is dumb. it has a big tech tree but becaue of the speed at which it takes no crap people have like 40+ hours on the game, its probably only one scenario!!! enemy ai will harrass you which is nice to have some combat, but for the most part youll rig up an auto research machine and do nothing the whole time while waiting for research to finish. co-op would probably make it worse with 3-4 people standing around waiting for research to finish! needs drastic improvements

i like it so far, cool vehicles and concepts and stuff like that. ill play more but the concept is solid. so i reccommend for now

i have had this game since my childhood. probably 300+ hours over the years, I LOVE THIS GAME. its simplicity and creativity is a perfect match. the grid style gameplay makes it organized and they RUIN it in the 3rd game lol. it has a variety of rides and maps, just overall a fun game for nostalgia's sake. the only issue i remember having was the customers will get mad about everything! but it has fun gameplay to murder them so i dont care! ive been using the disc version of this game until recently i lost one of the 3 discs due to age/wear and tear. so it was a tad lacking with just the content of the original, i was SO happy to find it on steam and immediately add it to my library, at the $6 price tag an easy buy. 8/10

NOV8: the game wont start through steam WTF! like i click play and it loads and nothing happens. FIX THIS NOW!!!

edit:NOV20: NOPE ♥♥♥♥ THIS GAME THIS GAME!! ITS A TON OF IMPROVEMENTS OVER TRAIN FEVER BUT ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ FALLS APART WHEN YOU ARE FORCED TO USE ANYTHING BESIDES TRAINS AND CARS LIKE IN TRAIN FEVER. BOATS ARE TOO SLOW TOO BE EFFECTIVE AND PLANES CANT CARRY ANY PEOPLE TO KEEP UP WITH THEIR MAINTAINENCE SO THEYRE USELESS AS WELL FIX THIS NOW!!!!!!!!!!!

love it, its fantastic...BUY THIS GAME. its story, its gameplay, and its tactics to setting traps make it a great game....too bad they mess it up with the sequal 9/10!

its fun for a bit but its somewhat the same strat and hoping for good luck on your end vs 100 people infected in china and the whole world tries to cure a disease that does nothing to its host or has any ill side effects. the other most unrealistic thing about this game is the entire world working together to cure a disease that would wipe out humanity,HA! no.....

maps are small. no base building, galaxy conquest is the best mode. all fights are just attrition wars without a tactic. basically throw star destroyers/ AT-ATs at them until it dies for space or ground fights accordingly. 4/10

this game is fun with friends. conquering and crushing them and allying with them...but without them the main issue is the ai is incredibly lame and predictable. like its just terrible. like i understand theyre trying to follow the history but if you go off the rails historically they mess you up for no reason. like EVERYBODY is in an alliance, so if you want to war with 1 country theyll usually ally with your enemy and now the world is on fire because i just wanted a small island nation of tropico! my actual story was as germany i took over lithuania while allied with russia in an alliance. so lithuania joins the allies but france and england dont invade me cuz of russia guarding my borders. so after lithuania is conquered, russia immediately breaks our alliance, joins the allies and takes lithuania. its crazy stupid! like there is never an option to be friends with the allies in 1936 when hitler was a cool guy to them! like its not great with diplomacy and the strategy is easy cuz again dumb ai 7/10

its fun but not memorable....its kinda bad in some areas, but good in others. still kinda average but id recommend it 6.5/10

basically strap a ♥♥♥♥ bucket to your butt and go nuts! i have 800 hrs on the xbox version, and bought my pc JUST for this game and modding support.
