I can recommend the game for the story as I know that is very good and playable. However, I wish I could say the same for Multiplayer/CO-OP. So far when attempting to play any form of Online mode the game wants you to create an Online profile which is all fine and a very normal thing to do. However, this puts a lot of people in a constant cycle where you cant make an online profile no matter what you try to do. The issue seems to be for recent buyers as I have a friend who also owns the game on Steam but has owned it for quite some time and he seems to have no issues on this matter and it works fine for him. But for everyone I have heard getting the game recently they also experience the same issue. This issue has dated back to when the game first released and over time there have been some people who have found some fixes for this issue but it seems that a majority of people are stuck in the same issue I am where nothing works.

I wish I could play this game to its fully capability as the thing that most interests me is the Zombies maps as well as the campaign.

If the online profile bug wasnt an issue I would heavily recommend it but for now its unplayable for me

I would Definetly not recommend buying this game at all. The game its self was built along the hype-train with all these amazing features that would change the future of games as you get to explore a vast amount of planets through billions and trillions of universes. Unfortunatly ever since the release date the game has been nothing but a big disappointment with half of the features in this game not working at all. Everything that Mr Sean Murray had said in interviews about 'No Mans Lie' was ofcourse nothing but false advertisement. This game is definetly not worth its money and if anything it should be lowered in price. I feel that for myself and other players, we are going to find it difficult to like this game as everything that they say they are going to do for this game, is most likly not going to happen ( e.g. Base Building ). Not only that but even steam has used one of the false advertisement trailers on the No Mans Sky main page on steam. However there are some very rare planets that do look amazing, if you can run the games settings on max that is.

Overall I would like to say that you should save your money instead of buying this game.
