Love the arcade type gameplay for a sport that I love. After a very long time without any actually good Volleyball games this is a bit of fresh air. All the other games like Spike Volleyball are 3D which is cool an all but they were super rushed, extremely buggy and boring. For a 2D game in 2022 where most games are 3D this game is amazing.

Spiking feels smooth and rewarding when you finally smash that ball through their block.

Unlocking new characters is fun and rewarding when you get lucky enough to pack Nishikawa :)

Blocks are a little weird because you can see sometimes that a ball that should be hit clean over your block gets pushed down into it randomly. Low hitters hitting at like 2.94m are broken as because they literally hit under your block.

p.s - please add multiplayer soon so me and my friends can mess around :)

Look past the pixelated spritish graphics this game is absolutely amazing. Can say however that the game is only able to be enjoyed if you have a friend or friends to play with so you can truly realise your viking clan dreams as you fight the nightmarishly hard bosses and raise your large longhouses.

6/10 - Solo (Game is a hard grind so unless you are a special type of person who enjoys games more solo)

9/10 - Group (Game is enjoyable when grinding the game with your friends. Not a 10 however as the game is new and still adding more content.)

Although apparently at launch the game was incredibly glitchy nowadays the game is chill. Graphics are amazing if you have a solid computer, combat gameplay is pretty fun and challenging and the city is STUNNING.

Played 9 hours and am enjoying every bit of it minus the sad parts :(.

10/10 game so far.
