We regret to inform you that The Spike will soon be discontinued from Steam.

Due to the various challenges and some undisclosed legal issues, it has been difficult for us to provide you with updates as actively as the mobile version.

We are sorry that this has to end this way.

The Spike's Steam version was first released in June 2020, and I was very satisfied with it -- because I had always wanted to release my game on Steam, and I knew how enjoyable The Spike was on PC.

However, although the mobile version and the Steam version started out as the same game, the projects were separated for a long time, causing problems in how they are operated and updated differently. This was an issue that must be resolved for the future of the game. After a long discussion with our development team members about what to do, we have decided to end sales of the current Steam version.

In the future, we plan to release a new version of The Spike, The Spike CROSS, on Steam, an updated game based on the mobile one to be better suited to play on PC. The Spike CROSS will allow to link your data between mobile and PC versions, allowing you to use the same account on each version.

Thank you for the love you have given us so far. We'll be back even more better than before.

The Spike will be removed from Steam storefront on May 31st, and we're planning to hold a final goodbye sale for a week, starting May 20th. Anyone who owns the game can continue to play it even after it is discontinued.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for everyone's continuous support.
