Journey of a Roach
Is set in a barren and lifeless post apocalyptic world where only giant insects roam and bugs the world. Your mission is to find and save your clumsy friend.
However it is not an easy task, since you can walk on the walls and ceiling; and that'll just leave your head spin. Go listen to Dizzy, Miss Lizzy while playing - Double up on dizziness.

You spin my head right round, right round!
When you go down, when you go down down!

Nuclear Thumb Up
Nice graphic.

The giant spider is not scary.
On top of that, most characters are different and personalized, even as you only meet them for a short encounter.

Smooth playthrough, however I had to play it over a few times to get all the cheevs.

Cheevs and cards.

Cute ending

Nuclear Sadface
Spend a lot of time walking around trying to find what you overlooked. Takes patience; but that's common with many point & clicks.

The story is rather flat, since you just walk around exploring the world solving puzzles. Infiltrate military bases and break into other bugs' homes.
- but on the other hand, there is no need for that; and a half-assed attempt would rather ruin the charm of this exploration.

So, bomb away - It's a nice slow-paced puzzle game, but requires patience.
Worth digging into, and when you reach the surface, the game has bloomed.

This game has no similarities to Skyrim!

House of Caravan
Is a house in the early 20th century in which you (the main character Lester Barnard) wakes up in. The house is dark, quiet and spooky, so you need to find a way to get out. and you can't just break a window because that's vandalism; and you only vandalise vases, plates and the occasional armor falling on the floor.
Also don't jump on the bed.

The game appears to be dark, but has nothing to do with horror. It is more like a muffled Edgar Allan Poe universe. - Big disappointment for horror-seekers, but still a lovely point & click puzzle game.
Which you realise after a while since you start saving up matches, and then realise they're not that precious as in Amnesia!

Poe's Thumb Up
Nice graphic & soundtrack leading to an eerie atmosphere. However it can get a little too dark to see, especially since you're looking for clues. Damn thy eyes!

You will appreciate the save function!

Poe's Sadface
The story is flat, there is little explanation to why Lester was kidnapped and woke up in the house - it is formulated in a few sentences in the letters.

The characters stay 2D since the letters only give a brief connection to the people, even Lester is undescribed, but maybe that is for the player to better put himself in the main role.

But what really ruined the game was how bugged the puzzles are. I had to restart 3 times because apparently the doors don't open if you finish the puzzle, but quit it too fast.
Thank Lester I got used to save regularly after the 2nd restart.

Bugged game, but it keeps you on the toes in the beginning with the great eerie surroundings.
Merely this, and nothing more.
Quoth the Raven, "Nevermore."

The most fun part was just walking around breaking plates. Reminded me of Lucius, except for the killing part.

Morphopolis
Is about transformation as an insect and discovery; the discovery you get from point & clcik and puzzle solving.
Set in a beautiful insect world, lovely art design.

The art and music is everything, and the slow gameplay makes sure you take in and focus on it. Since it is a hidden object game apart of a puzzle game, you are sure to look at every little detail of this artwork.

It will absorb you as you absorb it, and you will create a symbiosis aimed for relaxation. Open your mind and make it bloom!
Boom!

Spring Thumbs Up
Highly visual with a great art.

Nice and relaxing music & a nice and relaxing atmosphere.

The puzzles are not too difficult, but will make your mind morphopolise.

Cheap + Steam cards and cheevs.

Slowpaced; but in a good way.

Autumn Sadface
I experienced a few bugs - Pun intended

No save function, so if you quit a level, you need to restart that level.
Also you can't quit puzzles at will.

The movement of the bug can be a bit difficult and frustrating.

Defense Grid

I have seldom played a better tower defense game.
Set in a galaxy far, far away on a planet with a dormant defense grid.. You must defend military bases against aliens trying to steal your power cores as you re-activate the defense system.

As usually the towers have different skills, but 1 tower does not overpower the others unlike in many others TDG's. You are forced to place your towers in different strategic series in connection with the other types and the map layout. Unlike if you place a SuperMonkey in Bloons TDG.
You have to create a happy family, and everyone are equal in this time and age. :p.. No, I am your father!

Jedi Thumbs Up
The 3D view is amazing, you can really think tactic with a zoom, turn and scroll function.<
The rewind option is also great, while it doesn't make the game dead easy.

Nice graphic, actually good detailed.

High replay value - especially since there's a highscore system with your friends' results too.
You can easily spend 100 hours beating this game!

Many maps and game-modes - gives you quite a challenge, but a map is not impossible to beat, you just need to change your strategy from map to map.

The DLC's are nice, to a fair price too.

The game is cheap too, especially with how much time you can spend on it.

Sith Sadface
I can't find any negative things, except the feeling of frustration for when you just can't get a gold ranking, or when your friends beat your hardearned highscores.

This game has little to do with Star Wars and the cake is a lie.

A Bird Story
Enjoyable piece of art.

It takes you through a simple graphic novel, and proves that things are not only understood through dialoque, since there's little to none in this little gem.
However it is lacking a few things, which places it as an appetizer for To the Moon also by Freebird Games.

Thumbs Up
The mood it creates for many is powerful.

The music is beautiful.

Creative way of showing the story despise the lack of interaction & dialoque, while also limited to RPG-graphic.

Easy 100% game completion.

Perfect for relaxation

Sadface
However the story only lasts for around 1 hour with little replay value except for finding a few easter eggs.

3.99 (5.99) with soundtrack - is a high price for such a short game - however you will listen to the soundtrack afterwards.

No save function

Closing Comments
Buy this game to support the developers, but you'll probably enjoy To the Moon much, much more!

Warning: This game might have an influence in how you fancy your next grill-chicken!

Let's "Civilize"
You start the game having migrated to a place with a set of ressources, livestocks and people; but winter is coming, and this is something like the medieval times.

Like many other great civilization games, you'll harvest ressources, build your town and manage your ressources, including F***ing to raise the population. This game is R-rated!
There's no goal except the achievements and trying to expand your town as much as possible.

However in banished you'll get sucked dry of ressources, your population will starve and die, and your hard work will crumble faster than Frieza could destroy the town.
You'll restart town number over 9000! and only a wish from Shenron can earn you all of the achievements.
Trust me, it would be faster gathering the DragonBalls.

If you want a challenge, go watch your town starve in hardcore mode, mountain map and harsh weather! I dare you, super Saiyan!

Thumbs Up
This game poses a real challenge!
But at least you don't get attacked by enemies - Mother Nature is your worst enemy here.

With endless randomly generated maps, and many game settings, this game has a lot of replay-value.

Supports a lot of mods which makes the game more fun to your liking, however it disables achievements for that particular playthrough. - Cheating proof!

You can send your whole population to the mines and quarries where they belong!!

Thumbs Down
More frustrating and time consuming than baking a cake outside only using sunlight, on a spot not located anywhere near Australia.
Because baking a cake only using sunlight in Australia would be.. yeah.. a piece of cake.

You're a god and you can destroy the world or make it flourish! Command thy weak humans.

This game has little to none to do with minecraft!

I spoil too much!!

Through the story = It would be nice to have a girl like Ai (I am a sad existence)
Ending of the story = I wish I could live in such a world with Ai (Wait, is the story refering to people like me, and are we far enough in our technology and programming?)

Jokes aside (Cough)

Carpe Diem meaning something similar to "seize the day" and/or a certain moment in time.
Being here a very small little short-novel, takes about 15 minutes to read it, 5-10 minutes to cry and then some time for buying ice-cream, eating and cry some more. "You sad lonely son of a *****"

Thumbs Up
Short, but lovely story
Simple, but appealing artwork
Meaningful ending, however you might have guessed it by her name shhh
Free to play - however you can support by buying a DLC-package.
Makes you go out and SEIZE THE DAY!

Sadface
Could use more variation in poses, facial expressions and details to the background But hey, it's a program on a computer inside a game on your computer

You've seen them before, you've probably tried a few of them - Bubble-shooter-games!

This one is no difference, except you got 3 powers you can invoke to help you clear the masses of colourful balls coming towards you while you try banding an impossible hit.

With 150 levels it will keep you entertained for quite some time, however do take breaks, it's best for you and your hospital bills.

Thumbs Up
Plenty of levels to clear
Difficult enough to fail getting 3 stars at first try every 5'th map or so.
Sometimes every ball will spin in a tornado - pretty pretty

Sadface
Might be too easy
I don't think you can play it windowed - only full screen. So you can't stream your favourite movie meanwhile.

Anyway have fun, it kept me busy for many days :p

This is a nice game because of a few unique things.

First of all:
The whole story and gameplay is quite original; since you play heroes which are not "the heroes" and they each got a different personality, despise how little you actually play them.

The humour is also good, - again, some work went into designing the personalities of the characters. Never played an India-pixel-game with more aggressive old ladies!?
And just.. Why the sheep?

However; and this is a -either you like it, or you don't thing- you have to play each map some times to completely get every achievement and unlock every secret. First you look for the tiles, then you look for the mapping-errors, oh, and before that you probably beat the game to up your score..
Well, it kept me irritated and amused for 19 hours, so I guess it's an achievement for such a small game :D. But beating the same level 3-4 times can get a bit.. too much! xD

The graphics can be discussed as good or bad, it's all about taste, since it's an old game.
I've spend too much time on here, but it's really a great game. It leaves you great potential for teamwork or solo-playing, depending on your skills.
And exactly the skills can be worked on for hours, there are so many combinations... However you probably only realize that after playing 300 hours, just spam-clicking to kill scrakes xD.

Anyway, it's a game you'll feel you have to play often, in order not to lose your skill-finesse. Most enjoyable after the first 400 hours of gameplay, where you've developed some crowd-control skills, and you don't rage fp's without reason xD some people gets mad at you for doing that - Meaning you can troll a lot too.
