Enjoying the game a lot so far. I tweaked the visual settings before starting my first city thanks to the warning from the devs about the performance issues. I can still run most settings on high without issues, my game has been running fine, no major drops in performance. Can't wait to see how my city will look with even higher graphics settings, and I've still had some very pretty moments while building and watching my city grow. I run my game on a Ryzen 5 3600X, nvidia Geforce GTX 980Ti and 16 GB ram.

The only major bug I have encountered so far is the mail service not sending out enough trucks even with a ton of post boxes around and the budget maxed out. The sorting facility just straight up doesn't work, I expect this bug to be fixed asap, and my city does function despite it.

Some of my favourite new features/changes/quality of life improvements compared to Cities: Skylines:
- Water and power being run through roads (i also enjoy the way the new power system works with high and low voltage, and the huge high voltage power lines add a vibe i really enjoy to the look of my cities)
- The terrain tools feel easier to use and make it easier to build around the topography in a way that looks nice.
- Time seems to move slower overall, which I enjoy a lot. Feels like I can actually follow the life of my citizens and the growth of my city, and I love that I can actually follow the cims and what has happened in their life through the game.
- No massive death waves.
- Traffic AI is so much better than the first game, and i love that the game expects me to actually think about parking availability. I love that more "difficult" intersections affect the likelihood of accidents.
- Love that a lot of the services can be upgraded to use helicopters
- The game tells you how much different things affect the happiness of citizens, and how important those different issues/bonuses are to them. Maybe the apartment sizes are small on those low rent buildings, but because the location has great health care, internet connection and entertainment, the cims will be happy living there. No single thing will make them abandon a home for no reason, and for example high taxes won't immediately make a cim move out of the city like in the first game.
- The roundabout tool, love that thing.
- Planted trees taking time to grow big
- The information the game gives you about production and the taxation options for each different industry etc. If i want to build specialized industry, I can go into my production info panel to see what products the city needs right now, build more. Or I can adjust taxes on different products to encourage companies that make certain types of products to move into the city.
- The larger map with lots of smaller map tiles, and being able to buy any tile no matter which tiles you already own.
- The weather, seasons and different natural phenomenon like eclipses and aurora borealis in the sky make for some truly magical moments. I also love how this varies between different maps, which makes me want to build different cities on different maps, instead of just sticking with one city and one map until I get bored.

I'm genuinely excited to play this game for years to come, and I'm looking forward to what kinds of DLC the team will implement in the future. Since some CS1 DLC kind of already has been implemented in the base game, I'm hoping we'll get some new funky things to play with eventually. And I cannot wait to see what the modding community will create once modding support is released as well! :)
