Winter of Dusk

Psalm 46

For the director of music. Of the Sons of Korah. According to alamoth. b A song.

1 God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.

2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way
and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,

3 though its waters roar and foam
and the mountains quake with their surging. c

4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
the holy place where the Most High dwells.

5 God is within her, she will not fall;
God will help her at break of day.

6 Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall;
he lifts his voice, the earth melts.

7 The Lord Almighty is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress.

8 Come and see what the Lord has done,
the desolations he has brought on the earth.

9 He makes wars cease
to the ends of the earth.
He breaks the bow and shatters the spear;
he burns the shields d with fire.

10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”

11 The Lord Almighty is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress.

Bethesda/Zenimax's greed is choking the life out of fantastic games.

2gb patch to load all Creation Club (paid mods) content on to your system taking up your space is absurd and will cause incredible problems in the future as you are forced to download every mod availible. Beyond the obvious micro-transactions, the greed is amazing, in the sense that Bethesda doesn't even have to develop their own terrible cosmetic lootbox like content. Furthermore, the things on offer are awful when compared with free content on the Nexus. It would be one thing if something like Falskaar or Beyond Skyrim: Bruma were availible, but its just pipboy skins for 50 cents a pop and an inferior hellfire armor (to the Nexus free version) for more than Fallout: New Vegas's story dlc.

This patch also broke the free mods users had already installed in an effort to force players towards this cash cow Bethesda has no business putting their greedy paws on. It's laughable that Bethesda offers to ensure compatability of the mods availible through the Paid Mods Club when Bethesda's official stance on quality control is "Bug testing is for idiots." Every Bethesda game gives Assassin's Creed Unity a run for its money in terms of bugs and crashes. Amazingly Bethesda has the audacity to pull this move after their horrid season pass garbage that they went with more crafting nonsense rather than meaningful story dlc, on top of being the most simplistic Fallout yet, it distills to kill some random bandits and recover the settlement to help the minute ghouls free the Institute from the brotherhood of railroad. Kill this, travel here, gain exp, repeat.

Please don't buy Bethesda's nonsense. Support the mod authors directly and cut out the middleman trying to skim profits off of their hard work.

1 Kings 19:11-13
11 The Lord said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.”

Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. 12 After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper. 13 When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave.

Then a voice said to him, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”
