I'm at a point where I can immidiately tell if someone is controller or mnk simply by how much damage they do to you in a split second. It's ridiculously OP. More and more people are converting to controller from mnk. Almost all the pro players are on roller as well and anybody with common sense knows this schtick needs a nerf. Takes no brain or any skill you just one clip somebody with zero effort in close range. It's enough to glance in their general direction and let aim assist do the rest. The biggest bot who doesn't know left from right, doesn't know what the heck is going on will one clip you. But you know, skill issue I guess. Apex is the only game I've seen that rewards the controller players like this with basically giving them aimbot. Every other fps game, mnk dominates. Not this one. Aim assist is by far the biggest negative. Needs a nerf but that's never gonna happen. There's a joke among us saying the devs themselves are playing on controllers.

The reason I used the word ''convert'' is because it's literally like a cult. They are delusional. It's wild. Huge egos I mean borderline narcissism. They think they're a god when in reality aim assist is doing all the work for them they feel proud when they one clip someone. Get a grip.

-Cross play.
More aim assist. Even stronger on these players. But most of these players themselves are horrible and they play on like 30 fps so not a big deal. But occasionally yeah some level 10 bloodhound console peasant will completely annihilate you at close range.

-Script kiddies.
Shameless tryhards who write down a whole bible in their game config to take advantage of the tiniest things they can, simply to win more fights. Recoil smoothing(basically cheating), supergliding, zipline jumping(several different styles), neo-strafing(a really op movement), rapid firing a semi auto gun. Absolutely pathetic.

-Map designs.
Every single pub game in worlds edge half the lobby without exceptions drops in fragment city. Obviously there's not enough loot to go around for 30 people and you don't have time to breathe you will get 3rd party after 3rd party it's always the same. Exhausting. Doesn't matter how good you are you will not survive that many enemies most of the time. But if you land anywhere else then it's looting simulator, boring. You won't find anyone to fight. Just bad design.

-Map cycles.
NOBODY wants storm point. Nobody. Just get rid of it. You've been shoving it down our throats for like 4 seasons. I don't understand why the maps are cycled to begin with. Just let the players choose whichever map they want to play on.

-Cheaters in high rank.
It's really rare to meet a cheater in pubs or ranked up to masters rank but after that, you will be seeing them almost every game. It's really not worth the grind for an average gamer. You will lose your sanity. It's well known most of the preds are cheaters. Rest are pro players. Yeah, good luck with that.

-Smurfs in low rank.
It feels like half the lobby is smurfing literally every game. Bronze-silver-gold used to be really easy naturally but if you jump in there right now it's a sweatfest. Pathetic.

-DDossers.
Mouthbreathing yoyos who will literally risk going to jail just to get a pred badge nobody cares about. It's very much illegal. Yet they do it, they freeze the server and kill everyone for free to get rank points. It used to happen a lot more before one guy got caught but still happens time to time.

-Servers.
Packet loss is a huge problem for a lot of people and it's never been fixed. In fact it seems to get worse and happens more often. Unplayably laggy when it does.

-Poor optimization.
This game will make your pc bleed no matter how good it is. It uses a LOT of cpu and gpu. A lot more than seemingly much more demanding games.

-Toxic community.
Pretty much every big multiplayer game has this problem it's natural at this point. Playing this game too long will make you lose your faith in humanity.

-SBMM.
In the early days you could just solo Q and have a great time because nobody knew what they were doing including you, everyone was mixed up randomly and there was no skill based matchmaking. It was fun. Simpler times. TODAY however if you have half decent k/d you're doomed. Almost every single lobby you will be facing against tryhard 3stacks screaming full comms on discord. It's unfortunately meta at this point to also 3 stack yourself because everybody else is. Because nobody wants to be teamed up with 2 randoms who will just get knocked and leave the game immidiately 90% of the time, leaving you alone against 3 hungry sweats. No matter how good you are you will die against a full hp, fully geared sweaty good comms trio, simply because it takes a lot more TIME to kill a player in Apex compared to other games like csgo where you can 1 shot them. Which makes clutching in Apex a lot harder. All the 1v3 clips you see online are just some tryhard killing 3 complete noobs. Doesn't work against competent players. When you're alone all you can really do is you're gonna be running from teams instead of w keying them with your 3 stack. You're gonna be ratting in some corner pathetically waiting for some fight to happen to 3rd it instead of initiating and winning fights with your 3 stack. That's basically solo Q for you. It's a very passive and boring playstyle imo and after so many hours I almost never solo Q anymore. Losing isn't fun and 3 is simply bigger than 1.

-Audio.
This one is a BIG problem. And it's been in the game since day 1. Sometimes you will just NOT hear somebody who is right behind you. They're supposed to have footsteps but it's as if they spawned behind you. It will get you killed MANY times. Very frustrating. Devs just don't know how to fix it and probably don't really care.

-Unbalanced legends.
In ranked people always play the same 6-7 legends because unfortunately not all legends are created equal. Some are OP as heck and some are pretty useless.

-Wall hack legends.
Bloodhound and seer needs to get thanos snapped out of this game. They're just unfun, unhealthy for the game and just pathetic garbage. You don't need a brain or gamesense when you can just press one button and you get all the information you need. Great job.

-Bugs.
Every single patch the devs manage to mess something up. Without fail. And then we have to wait for a fix for a new problem nobody ever heard of before. Every. Single. Patch. And there's also many long lasting bugs that go unfixed which I can't fit in this review if I tried.

-EA.
Notoriously known to be the most greedy company. They don't seem to care about you or fixing their game they just wanna add more cosmetics and recolor skins to make some more money.

Conclusion:
Just not fun anymore. It used to be a great game but last few seasons have been horrible. It's so bad. Unplayable. Game is dying. Everyone is slowly leaving and moving onto better games. Do yourself a favor and do the same.
