This total war has more depth than any others before it. Characters feel more alive with their traits, items, even the steeds. While I still feel as if the unit variety is a bit less than I would love but that's fine when compared to the overall result. My favourite part about the Total war games has always been the battles and the battles feel more alive and dynamic than in previous titles. Although, I noticed that unit textures become darker on the highest settings possible, I don't know why. I like the direction this is heading, just imagine a medieval 3 or a lord of the rings total war. Gets me excited.
