Pros
-Gameplay has a high skill ceiling
-Great base building system
-Constant updates
-As long as you have friends to play the fun never ends.
Cons
-You need a more than decent PC to run reliably
-The community is not friendly so learn to live in it or leave.
-Playing solo is not as much fun as youtube videos make it out to be.

After hitting 1000 hrs i decided i wanted to "take a break" and i'm still am after multiple years. This game is great and i have a lot of good memories. The only thing is the community will eat you alive, don't be a super "nice guy" you will die. If you want to get good, youtube videos will not help you. (unless they are how to build bases or what weapons are good for what) Don't listen to those "extreme trap base kills clan" videos. Fun as they may be they do not represent how rust is most of the time. to get good you need to clock in those hours. Just play and play. Hours do honestly represent how good you are with some exceptions.
