For all those that hating on this game or wondering on the negative reviews is simply cause this new wave of players who haven't been following or playing since few years ago when first was on steam they made the game free demo weeks a few time to test server strengh and continued to improve it an EVERYONE knew this game would cost 30 dollars on release so to anyone thinking this game is honestly free is really dumb to assume this since a real game like this will never be free buttttt i do have to admit the devs where dumb to make the game "free" on steam instead of just slapping the 30 right away they tried to do a good thing for players allowing all to play some sort of the game free for ones who cannot afford but that leniency was of course taken for granted by the "free player" mindset when the devs wanted some sort of gameplay free while the main game costs so i dont blame them to make it accessible for all players but in the end it hurt them alot being "nice" instead of simply slapping the 30 dollars to the game, if was flat out 30 dollars this game would have 80-90% positive rating like it did a few years back (believe was 97% positive rating with people knowing will be 30)

(edit i assume they made the game "free to play" for the players who supported them from there website directly so they could login and connect without having to rebuy the game on steam is what i assume is what happened so the devs took the bullet to not screw there players over what is a OP for a dev team to do)

extreme hackers/cheater issues for years and always say "they ban" they dont since its making them more money not to ban and now another game went far left, go woke go broke

a good story line good over all content and isnt one of those mass spam text games has meat to the dialog not just word filler adding to good story line

This Review Is Coming From Years Ago Playing On Release And Playing Till december 2023 16th when chinese fks found a way to abuse boundarys and grief and wipe everything on a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PVE server and did support tickets and all and nothing has ever come back years ago staff would reply after 3-4 days but whenever it was a chinese doing the crime they always got away with it there extremely bias and will allow any game grief long as a chinese player is doing it but ive seen people banned years ago for not doing anything just cause they are westerner whats a bit ♥♥♥♥ but currently the game is extremely dead for last 2-3 years now and they've had many server forced moves to condense servers due to lack of players and making you bum rush move your stuff or youd lose all also the game yes the weather system is nice combat is "ok" farmings nice but no longer able to build on or near roads what ♥♥♥♥ so many players bases back then and still do today and the game has only gotten more limited and them back on steam with a "partial sale" feels like a money milk at this point dont trust the devs to ever help you if you get griefed or any bugs happen you simply wont get any help if still like to see what i mean (most ppl quit and realize when to late to refund)

beyond a p2p game if you want these kinda games just buy a real one not a fake free one that will cost you 5x more in gem purchases then a A game of this genre like LOL bruh

honestly the best AC game so far valhalla sucked balls and felt like a scam that you HAD to play or u got scammed outa money lol this is honestly best one as of yet possibly a new rome or medieval could beat it just hope they have proper ships again like this not "valhallas 1 ship whole map" XD

i loved this game alot had alot going for it but theres some real issues that wont be fixed or updated by players wants things like communication dev said no possible text or real communication said he will never add writable signs so no way to communicate or make shops that way also the auto death wiping if u have to task manager out the game cuz its saving but causes your new pc to go into jet ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mode that never happened before ever till this game and the fact that dev is set to what he wants doesnt much care for any sort of mass player input so not sure he says he wants cross friend servers but no way to make friends or to communicate sorta ironic means your gotta bring friends you knew from discord and fk all others in existing game loooooool idk i cant recommend just due to so many factors plus the "wiping if u logout or task manager out even if u go back to old saves its wiped cuz its to prevent this and that" bro your loading a old save 99% of t he time its cuz the unoptimized stuff let ppl not get wiped each time game fks up ffs atleast leave a body to go back to loot my god worst mechanic rust is more forgiving LOL


update 2024 december: made a forum post about wheres safe base to build since 2/3 my bases got deleted from the dev removing buildings then had ppl comment about build spots etc then the dev got really mad saying all this not relevant at all and purged the entire thread with 20 ppl talking about stuff casaully this developer truely cannot handle any sort of open discussion or legitimate critique just to even play the game

rs was one of those games you could always come back to was chill and kept same nostalgia but now i log in and saw a 2% market fee that completely destroyed any childhood nostalgia i paid 42 gold on runite ore 2150ish so 2100ish i paid 25.2mill in ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fees to just sell a flip and items in rs specially large mass small price only go up 1-20 gold a day so this literally removes any flipping or merching and fear of bleeding more money if u have to resell something we play to enjoy not pay fees in a game when we already paying to many fees irl literally ruined the game been playing since 2004 so gg then no mo 15 dolla a month from me XD

amazon games needs to seriously fk off steam should remove this disgrace of a "company" like the actaul ♥♥♥♥ giving ppl game bans for not playing and perma staining all legit accs steam shouldnt allow this yeet all yo alexas out the window be the new tiktok trend LOL

the ships or sohuld i say small asf ship u cant change upgrade or get a fleet too (not sure if end game got cutscenes of alot more) but by how its been playing you litereally go with this tiny asf boat across rivers to raid along the shore thing is there all copy paste basically and fighting style and look is nothing like all other AC games also there is no coastal warfare all river bs so no grand landing fleets or raiding the coast forts etc all dirty asf swamp river mesh and no other ships to fight yours as well and the game feels idk at first graphics look nice but dont fit a ac game along with the way the game plays and feels feels really off to be honest ya cool u can build a "village" more like huts u get res talk to the sign post/guy build the preset and done and so on but if your playing for boats or boat warfare or any real "viking feel" you realllllllllllllllllllllllllly dont get that at all your better off with warband mount and blade viking dlc much more "viking feel" and matter and still somehow palys better then this hahahhaha but i got this on sale and i still feel like i got scammed theres good reason this one is mixed and all other AC games are extremely positive lol save yo money dont pay more then 10 or 7 for this just to say "u own it"
