ADDENDUM: Server bugs haven't died down and as of Serpent Moon Update, the game has become unplayable for me. I am locked out of every server (For about a week now). Don't buy, you won't be able to play it.

It's what battle royal games like pubg want to be. A race against the clock to hunt down monsters before the other bounty-men do in the middle of an cramped open world that actively wants you dead. This game is one of the few that does perma-death right, you get bonuses for keeping your hunters alive but weapon and item progression isn't locked behind them, so you don't really feel too disadvantaged by bringing new guys. If your looking for a game that itches like a BR but with genuine progression in items and game knowledge, you've gotta pick this or tarkov... and this ones set in the dangerous wilds of the south, truly nothing more terrifying.
