When you hear the menu BGM, you know you can't stop. Admittedly, this game has several drawbacks such as tedious fighting styles, unable to go back to previous sceneries and useless hints, but with the BGM I feel my epinephrine rushes. The melody is kind of similar to Lo Wang's adventure. At the beginning, it is performed by some Japanese musical instruments, indicating the peace before a fight, like Lo Wang's visit to a palace at the start of the game. Shortly drums come in with the main theme, exhibiting the fast rhythm. Indeed, in this game you can't have a lot of rest. You have to beat all of those monsters in one scene, and one scene after another, like fast drum beats. In the middle of the game, Lo Wang met some difficult situations in the shipyard, with his goal of finding the katana vaguer and vaguer, which is echoed in the menu BGM as dark style vocal sound. Fortunately, Lo Wang overcame those difficulties with perseverance and found the second kanata. Since then, Lo Wang stompped anything before him. The music also changes its style back to the main theme with variation. Different from the beginning, this time the main theme has higher volume and less electronic music, giving audience a feeling of confidence, seriousness and unstoppableness. When the BGM ends, you feel "Oh, that's it?", just like Lo Wang's adventure. The menu BGM is called Shadow Warrior.
