The plot is very classic, you are a knight and you need to control a castle.
Four seals, each are guarded by a boss, leading to the final boss.
Map are randomly generated.


2D platformer, Rogue-like, you can't hack and slash through enemies mindlessly.
Navigate throught the randomly generated castle, Each room containing with a mix of monsters and/or traps.
You will sometime encounter green chest : these chest will be either appeared by killing some mini bosses, dangerous rooms or completing a challenge room (taking no damage or no jump for example)
Inside the green chest will be recipe to craft a sword, helm, chest or gauntlet ; or a "rune", giving you extra abilities ( flying during a short time, extra jump, ...)

When you will die ( it will happen a lot at first ), you will be able to choose one out of three of your child to take your place, each one with their random qualities and drawbacks. Extra mention for the "muscle spam" Your controller will vibrate for no reason, which is a funny addition
Afterward, you will be able to spend your gold on your "keep" to increase your characters stats, unlocking potential class ( for you next child ) and buying these runes and equipements with the recipe you got.
Another run will reset your gold, so spend you gold wisely.


Once you know how to deal with enemies, getting all the achievements will be possible.
The achievement "Thanatophobia" (die less than 15 withouth the architect) is doable once you master the game I completed it with 10 childrens, so there is still room for mistakes
Clear at least new game + to get 100%.


A Challenging rogue-like 2D platformer, one game that you need to clear with knowledge, composure and maybe luck.
This game is worth a try, only if you are looking for a challenging game !
