I'll try my luck with another, maybe free to play title and hope that some inputs and concepts carry over to other fighting games.
Nonetheless I really hope that fighting games can get easier to get into. I heard that Tekken implements AI ghosts which play like you or other opponents and even implement their strategies. It would be great to have a feedback on what im doing wrong.
When I started playing this game all I did was play through the arcade a couple of times. After that I immediately went to the tower. I was assigned to the 6th floor where Bridget immediately beat me. I very quickly went down to the 4th floor and began to enjoy life. Now I have 300 hours and I live on the 10th floor. From time to time I climb the celestial. All I did to achieve this was just play. So that you understand, out of these three hundred hours, I spent only 5 in the training room and only 2 hours in training missions.
I've started story mode and 10 min later I'm still waiting for the cutscenes to stop. I didn't exactly sign up to watch an anime when I wanted to PLAY this game... you're not missing much
