So far the tension is pretty consistent. Teamwork and communication is a Must or else everything takes longer. If you recall Resident Evil Outbreak on the PS2, this is as close as I've come to that experience in the modern day. I look forward to the next pieces of this story!

The environments are amazing, and the graphics are stunning, but that's about it. As I played this game, I found that I kept saying three things:
1. Wow, I really adore these environments
2. Oh no, more of the same combat encounter
3. What's the significance of my character beyond being a pilot?

The story isn't all that gripping. The character feels generic, but at least he has 'Hopes and Dreams.' The circumstance he was arrested in also feels rushed and like more of an inconvenience than a plot point. He doesn't feel fleshed out and your unfamiliarity with the location (both character-wise and personally) leaves little reason to explore beyond "ooh cool environment." There isn't that much to explore as is, the game feels very linear and the scenes lack function. But again, it's not Bad, it's just not as good as I'd hoped.

I'd suggest the following improvements:
1. I'd make the protagonist more gritty and morally gray; perhaps a prisoner of Black Iron who Did commit the crimes they're incarcerated for. This type of background would better express Jacob's violent streak in the game, as well as his "You or Me" attitude.

2. I'd try to make the environments connect to each other more, maybe a Resident Evil-style Hub (Think Mansion, RPD, etc.,) with more openable doors.

3. I'd include puzzles, more interactions with certain characters, and more melee weapons. I miss my metal pipe :(

A good game. A great game even. But the "Van Key" makes the "Good Ending" really tedious to get. Pro Tip: You can't just restart from the House section to get the good ending, you have to restart the entire game or else it won't register the parts together and you'll get the bad ending again. Aside from that bug which ruins the experience for me, good game.

There were, in fact, various moments when I was in the dark. However I was rarely alone in it.

This game certainly has its flaws and its issues, from the janky PC controls to the occasionally unhelpful camera angle, but honestly I think this is one game which has directly benefited from the Steam Deck as I was able to change the controls more easily adjusted. It has its good scares and a lot of "Easter Eggs" which show off the inspiration for nearly every classic horror game that followed it, from Resident Evil to Dead Space. This game is definitely worth a play through if for no other reason to experience survival horror history.

Overall a very enjoyable experience and one that I greatly enjoyed.

Despite some performance issues at launch, I overall found them to be negligible minus a few 3-second freezes. The graphics were pretty great, and the addition of filters made the experience more movie-like. Despite some facial animations and lip-syncing, the character models were pretty good. The suspense and horror-aspects of the game were top-notch I think, and I could only identify a few moments where the tension fell flat. It's also a deep-thought experience for people who like to get the "good" endings in games, especially on the first try. You can accidentally trap a character in an unavoidable death loop, or make a choice that inadvertently kills another character.

Just gotta say, the Streamer Mode music was 500x better than the licensed music used in the game, especially for the opening song. Maybe it's because I dislike Ariana Grande's music, but the Dev-Made music just fit so perfectly.

So to be clear I'm a Survival Horror fanboy; I grew up with Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and many other great titles. And the developer of this game most certainly grew up the same. The game has a ton of references to locations and characters from Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Amnesia and other games. I saw the James Sunderland and Harry Mason character models, ya cheeky bastards. Overall, it was a well made game that was spooky, had its scares, had its good fun House of the Dead-esque moments and most importantly really frustrated me when I forgot to save at save stations. Good game, great game even, and I'm glad I took a chance on it.

A good, short horror experience with a good amount of replay value! The graphics weren't earth shaking, but their simplicity assisted with the ambiguity of the horror of this game. I really enjoyed this game, and would gladly play another game like this from Puppet Combo! Good job to Lum for this game, and I look forward to future Puppet Combo collaborations! If you're looking for a short yet visceral horror experience, I strongly recommend this game!

Would my girlfriend recommend this game? "Ehhh, it was alright... It could have been worse...." She doesn't like horror games.
Would my other friend recommend this game? "I think it was bare-bones, what you see is what you get, but for the price yeah I'd recommend it. Not Bad by any means, definitely good for the price. Map design was decent, AI could use some work, I'd like a little more direction as far as story stuff. It feels like you're doing errands for a character who knows a lot more than you."

Would I recommend this game? Oh heck yeah, I love roleplaying with my friends here. The general scenario I use is "Hey guys! I used our credit scores and SSN's to buy these two places! I owe $1.2m to the government now... Rather, WE owe it! But you'll never believe how good these places are!! Okay yeah, there are plague doctors... And zombies... And Spider ladies... And Meat Men... BUT once we clear them out the bank will let us have the house AND the hospital for free!! So LET'S GO!!!!" Very good roleplay potential.

The graphics are good, I enjoyed the locations and scenery a lot. In fact, I'd say that they were my favorite aspect of the game. I love good atmosphere and nice level design, and for this game I was not disappointed!

Combat is fairly one-sided, by which I mean I love throwing plates at the plague doctor cultists in the first map but it doesn't really help very long. This game is very difficult to complete by yourself, nearly impossible even, considering One-Hit-Kills on the players. It makes multiplayer a requirement, really.

Sound design wasn't half bad either, though it's certainly no Hunt: Showdown or Resident Evil 7. Nothing super noteworthy.

Overall I liked the experience, though I admit there are still many bugs, such as being able to effectively nullify the Meat Man on the Asylum level with a few fun funky doors. The bugs were sometimes game breaking, but all you have to do is break the game back in place (i.e., Steam valve puzzles in Asylum), and I'd gladly bully my friends into joining me for another round of this game!

A short experience, yet a good exercise in finding codes and existentialism of the AI. The graphics certainly got the job done, the sounds were loud and visceral when things got serious, it was an enjoyable experience that I'm glad I had. The game operates initially from a futuristic desktop terminal, then gives you the ability to explore from a first person perspective. You'll be bouncing back and forth between first person view and desktop terminal view a bit but neither infringes upon the other. For at least one code I'd recommend having a notepad. My final notes are that if you're expecting survival horror or a lot of gore or violence, you will be disappointed. But this game is still very good, and I'm glad I played it.

The graphics were very good when the game worked; however even moving my graphical settings to their lowest point did not help much. At its best, I got halfway through the opening cutscene. At its worst, it crashed during character creation. Bear in mind, my computer is not bad by any means, as it runs Cyberpunk 2077 on High settings, Red Dead Redemption 2 on High settings, and many other graphics intensive games as well. I have an Nvidea G-Force 1650 graphics card, an Intel Core i7 processor, and 16gb of DDR4 RAM. There isn’t really an excuse for why the game won’t run on my PC other than a bad release version. I will update my review if the game begins to work better, though.

Edit: Good news! I got it to work! And it's very fun, I love the world and graphics. The difficulty is comparable to previous Dark Souls games, but the gameplay is like medieval Metal Gear Solid, which is a compliment. I enjoy the stealth mechanic, the sword play, the weapons and combat system. Also, fun fact, there is a settings system to make everything Mouse and Keyboard compatible which my friend told me about! It really helped me out when I was confused on the control scheme. I will now recommend this game for its content rather than its bugs, in hopes that the bugs are fixed in the coming weeks!
