the game is fun and yes i recommend it but there are some things that scream to be fixed:

1.- the combat for me sadly becomes too repetitive due to the lack of combat scenarios and mechanics, after a while of playing the game it doesnt matter where you go or what mission you are in you will notice that the only scenario you are fighting is this 4 or 5 big open space senarios with nothing on them with the ocational lance, mud, traps and fire on the ground, doesnt matter if you are fighting inside a castle a village or a dungeon its always the same open space with nothing on them and the tactics becomes the same every single time: try to attack the next moving opponent and block their movement before they get to you, thats it. and i would have loved to see a more varied set of scenarios where they let you interact with more stuff like if you are attacking a castle some kind of siege gear, walls, houses and other stuff would had been fun, more stuff to bring to the battlefield where you can cover flank and do some enviromental kills or something. because combat get tedious really fast.

2.- smithing is cool, but why didnt you let the playes choose the style of their crafted armors and weapons?, i really like the design of some armors and weapons in the game but you will use them maybe once if you are lucky, some helmets would had been nice.

3.- the story is really bland so the story missions.

4.-lack of the option to customize your characters inside the game.

in the end the game is nice and fun but too repetitive due to the lack of gameplay content.

This is what i did:
FIRST STEP:undocked from the first base.
SECOND STEP: drove foward.
THIRD STEP: crashed into a wall and drowned.
10/10 will play submarine titanic again.

best zombie survival i ever played dont let the graphics fool you.

many people have a great hate for this game, but im going to give you an example of really bad devs: h1z1, they scamed everyone who put their hope into their game a quick cash grab(including me), they splited the same game into 2 games suvival and battle royale, then sell them like 2 separate games being the same stuff, now they are ditching the survival part closing the servers and not refunding the money or giving a chance to make private servers to all those ppl that wasted money in that piece of ♥♥♥♥. and im sure the battle royale will not last another year they are only trying to milk what they can wit their stupid horrible and expensive skin crates to the remaining player base.

devs of day z never ever ditched the proyect, they had a huge problem with the engine and instead of saying f-k it lets close the game, they redone the engine wich i may say its by far not an easy task, is starting a game again from scratch, i have played many survival games and i can tell that day z with the new engine is going in the right direction, the game feels fresh and natural it has some great soud database from the gun sounds to the woods, yes it may have some bugs and flaws but the devs never ever stoped working on this game they are there working to give you a really great survival expirience, and you guys dont know how lucky you are that these devs have never ever gave up and are working hard to make this game better.

a good friend gifted me this game, i was always skeptical about this one because of all the hate that it has but so far im really enyoing this one out more than all the other zombie survivals i played. had i kew i should had backed up this one instead of the other quick cash grab trash.

do i like the game? i like what it can become, sadly this title has been in a struggle since the beggining, the idea behind this game is beautiful, a huge world map, a crazy crafting system, unpolished combat hahaha reminds me kinda like starwars knights of the old republic but weirder, and the freedom to do what you want as you rarely see in nowadays mmorpgs, i really want this game to leave behind all the problems that haunts it and raise to be the great game it deserves to be, it has a great potential but sadly constantly blocked by bad luck. at the time being to all buyers !beware! this one is a gamble it might raise from the ashes or definetly crumble to dust.

you might loose your money or win a a golden ticket. who knows.

1.-first of all this is a simulation game if you are looking for a fast shooter you are looking at the wrong place this is more of a tactical shooter and you will die from just one well placed bullet.

2.-The vanilla game offers too little to tell the truth, is fun but everything is too short.

3.-Where this game shines is in its multiplayer and specially in its mods, this game is a diamond once its modded and specially if you are a fan of milsim(military simulation).

4.- There are some great clans out there that know what they are doing in terms of military simulation, and the experience of playing in a private server with one of those clans is fantastic, i was in a clan of people with a lot of experience(some experience from real soldiers, and some from people that were really into this stuff) and man it was fantastic, they had a modded server where the map (the map was changed to another one each month moreless or depending what the objetctives were in the zone) was always developing with new friendlies, civilians and threats, so when you were patrolling you didnt knew what to expect once you were out of the friendly zone, sometimes it was super boring as the insurgency was low in the area and other times we were surrounded outmaned and outflanked, most intense battles in my shooter games. there were also hand made missions where we will join other milsim clans and we cooperated towards a goal, each person just as in real life have 1 life you died you were out of the mission hahaha it was great. by the way usually it was like that when we were patrolling you die you need to wait to be reinserted wich sometimes will take a lot of time, and in oficial missions its just 1 life wich it made it super hardcore and fun as you value your life a lot.

in the end this game is a 9/10.

great game ruined by greedy developers, everything in this game is made to make you grind like crazy, except if you buy premium xp hours and even then you will have to buy a lot, once you get to your desired lvl watch out, you kill someone even in self defense you loose karma, go below 50 negative and youre pretty much done for, you cant recover good karma after that, if you die you will loose pretty much all the skills levels you grinded so hard to get to.

every bulding you build to craft stuff breaks down really fast, you want to make some nails in the furnace that you spent 1 to 3 hours or more building depending on how new you are? well watch out because just as in real life furnaces breaks after making 20 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nails. and guess what you need nails to repair it and some other ♥♥♥♥ that you craft in the same furnace.

everything in this game is designed to punish the player as i have never seen in other game, this ♥♥♥♥ is way beyond hardcore is just plain stupid, i played a lot life is feudal your own and had great moments there i loved it, it was hard but not ridiculous, there was a lot of roleplay and war between factions, best of my gaming moments to tell the truth, all that is lost in the mmorpg.

UPDATE: DEVS RAN WITH THE MONEY AND CLOSED THE GAME, NOW THEY RE OPEN AGAIN THE GAME BUT NOW THEY HAVE THE ♥♥♥♥♥ AUDACITY TO CHARGE MONTHLY???? KEEP DREAMING ASSH0LES WE ALREADY MADE THE MISTAKE OF BUYING YOUR PIECE OF ♥♥♥♥ GAME.
