Actually really fun since the relaunch as a coop dungeon crawler - all of my worries and issues with the beta and original release are no longer problems. Looking forward to seeing what the devs plan to do going forward.

The gun play feels like taking heroin in the best possible way. Unfortunately, the rest of the game is just the other ♥♥♥♥ your dealer crammed into the needle.

GOTY 2023 (for me, at least)

Fast paced, but not mindless mech combat, great visuals and incredible music.
Difficulty is there, especially if you want to S rank every mission, but the game is generally very good about giving you options via mech parts to make every encounter doable with a bare minimum skill level.

Story and characters are great as well, a sort of fusion of older AC games with more modern FromSoft direction. I really enjoyed it even if it was a little more 'anime' than I was expecting personally, but it's easy enough to ignore if you're just here to pilot cool as ♥♥♥♥ mechs.

PVP is also fun, but very silly. Also uses old-school lobby rooms, which work fine but is a strange decision in current year. Still great - game balance is in a pretty good spot, and has been receiving regular patches.

I played it for free on a free weekend. I still want my money back.

Awesome action based-RPG. The art, music, and gameplay are fun and polished, and the story is surpisingly engaging.
Be aware that there is a heavy emphasis on puzzles, which can get quiet demanding at times.

Fallout: New Vegas in a nutshell;

unreasonably fun open world rpg, with more than its share of hilarious and intersting characters, a wonderful world to explore, and one of the most insteresting and flushed out worlds in the genre ( and my personal favourite in general).

One of my personal favourite game series, and a must play for any rpg fan.
