So the game does have potential, I just can't recommend it now as the game isn't finished and still has quite a few bugs. Unless you are okay with this, I would definitely wait. Right now it's a very simple factory game with some Stranded Alien Dawn potential. I won't likely be playing this one again until it's much further along.

I've only been playing on realistic mode and this is one of the most difficult city builders ever. It can be a very slow process, but it's extremely well done. Very well detailed, micromanagement is a must on this mode. Fantastic game developer as well. Your goal is to found a communist country. Your citizens will likely die. You may run out of rubles and spiral into failed nation status. Imagine building one building at a time...there are no "zones" here that simply populate....nope, every wire, pipe, sewer line is under your control. Did I mention the harsh winter?

Comrades, you must not give up, however your addiction to vodka may be justified.

Every game company in the world should take note of Hooded Horse. Why? The Dev opened the store with a 25% discount. That was very much appreciated by everyone waiting for the game to launch. What else? well in mere DAYS, DAAAAYYYYSSSS, Hooded Horse has already listened to player feedback and will release a patch addressing those issues. The game is fun. It's like Banished! and not like Banished!. Huge potential as the regional specific talent tree opens up down the road. Paradox.....you all should take some lessons from this dude even if your corporate overlords won't allow it. I do hope that with Hooded Horse's new found wealth, he hires some help to get the game fully fleshed out much faster, but man oh man what a breath of fresh air here.

One of the greatest games ever made

I'm piling on. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. Everyone who did was deceived into thinking it was actually finished. It's at best an early alpha release. Almost everything is broken and it does almost nothing to move the game forward. The CEO acts like an a**hat complaining about customers remaining civil and failing until the game has tanked to recognize that when you steal people's money they tend to get pi**ed off.

Maybe this game will be ready in 2025, but I'm not holding my breath. Honestly, there should be legislation to prevent gaming companies from releasing crap like this, or at least STEAM should extend refunds for more than 2 hours for betas, alphas and any game that releases as complete but has issues like this one.

This game is surprisingly fun to me. For an early release game it's pretty polished with lot's on the way. The only bugs that I have encountered have been few and far between, mainly not being able to check out at the market a couple of times and a quick save and restart cleared it up. The devs are very engaged with players in a POSITIVE manner (vs some ahem...Starfield CEOs....) If you enjoy this genre, you'll actually love this one.

This is a quirky fun game that is pretty addicting. It isn't that challenging, but it's definitely relaxing with a good progression through the different Universities. Pretty fun to develop your best rooms and build out your campus. I'm looking forward to the new DLC as well. It's basically a strategic builder game with some micromanagement. I haven't finished yet, but I have gotten through Cheeseball which is a really fun campus.

I graabbed this game on sale and it's a great time to pick it up if you don't already have it.

I wasn't really going to grab another factory game, but my Satisfactory Update 8 freezes on landing so,,,,I decided okay, the price seemed reasonable. I can remember when satisfactory first launched and people complained that it was a factorio rip off...except it wasn't really, just an advance in the factory game genre. it's the same with techtonica, it's honestly a nice addition to the genre. yes it takes things from a lot of games, but it also has a lot of great additions.

First, I am enjoying the environment, but I definitely need to give my eyes some rest at times. What I really enjoy is the story line along with the crafting, both hand and factory. I even enjoy the lack of ratios and math that comes with other games even though the devs have said that they plan on adding those in in future updates.

Speaking of the devs, they are responding fast to their gamers, something that doesn't always happen.

The other nice thing about the game is the exploration process and the tech tree feels unique to me. It has great puzzle elements, perhaps some unintended like wtf I have way too many pink tech bubbles for this room! no problem, I'll just delete the bottom half, move it and eventually just wind up with Barbie's ceiling.

In my game play I definitely over thought some things, creating a complex factory that was really not needed to fuel my extractors and smelters, but oh well, I'll just build a better one once I find that mushroom chamber.

Do not buy this game. The motion sickness is real. The interface is awful. Multiplayer is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. there are so many better games of this ilk out there, just do not waste your time on this one. I grabbed it because it WAS cheap, but damn my eye's are burning and I actually think I might puke.

Why oh why do I keep getting sucked into these Factorio/Satisfactory type games when those two are the best out there? I'm also a damn sucker for every Bansihed! play based game that comes along and I am just BORED out of my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mind.

A Space city builder with a story. Very challenging game, which is fun. Expect to fail quite a bit early on, but it's very satisfying when you move from chapter to chapter, just be prepared. Devs responded quickly to an issue that arose with a first patch, one day to fix the issue. it is very refreshing that a game comes up that is actually completed with opportunity for more story down the road, unlike many games that came out completely unpolished and in need of multiple fixes, yes I'm looking at you Victoria 3...
