This is one of those games that you wouldn't be addicted to unless you've played one of Mimimi's games.

This game itself is great but unoptimized AF. I've got a pretty decent rig of 2600X and Vega 64 but it just keeps on chugging from 4-40 fps. YES it dips frequently to a minimun of 4 fps when there's a lot of unit deployed. Ffs the first game is better optimized.

How would I describe MHW in 1 word?

A D D I C T I O N

When you have hunted every monster it will probably a lil' bit repetetive at some point (Especially when you're trying to farm a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gem) but for me it's one of the most enjoyable game to play with your friends.

10/10 would hunt again.

Update after having 450+ hours of gameplay.

*Sometimes the servers are straight up very ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and will disconnect you at the peak of the hunt which is VERY ANNOYING. I hope they will be able to fix this. The game is still fun but for now I can't say I can recommend this until the problem is fixed. I wonder how would the game behave after they launch Ice Borne and a ton of people are playing. God help us all lol

Despite that I still play this game.
11/10 would pull their hair out again.

I never thought a 2D game would be this good (Especially the graphics and the atmosphere of the game)....If you want to try it, Don't hesitate to buy it.

10/10 would get depressed again

I only played the intro cause I have stuff to do but im already impressed with everything that I see ingame (especially lara;) )

If you love the 2013 version, I really recommend this game 6969%

Update:

I was able to finish the story with 92% overall completion. If you decide to explore everything with one swoop it'll take about 30-40 hours of gameplay and the expedition mode where you replay the chapters is a very big addition compared to the Tomb raider 2013.

Pros:
-Lara
-Swimming Underwater
-Beautiful landscape
- A much larger map compared to the last game
-Pretty long story
-The chapter replay enables you to customize almost everything with anymap you play.

♥♥♥♥: (For me it's not that big of a deal but it might be for others)
-Requires mid-high end GPU for you to enjoy the scenery
-The stealth in this game is only optional, due to the fact that every enemy that you loot gives off a lot of ammo
-Cliff Hanger

Tip:
-If you really want to enjoy the game to it's full potential, I highly recommend you to play the hardest diffulty for this game (Survivor) and if you want a more challenging gameplay, stick to the bow and forget the other weapons unless it requires you to use one.
