Yuenyeung (Chinese: 鴛鴦, often transliterated according to the Cantonese language pronunciation Yuenyeung,Yinyeung, or Yinyong), yuanyang (in Mandarin), coffee with tea, also commonly known as Kopi Cham in Malaysia ( from the Hokkien cham, "mix") is a popular beverage in Hong Kong. Made of a mixture of three parts of coffee and seven parts of Hong Kong-style milk tea, it can be served hot or cold.

It was originally served at dai pai dongs (open air food vendors) and cha chaan tengs (café), but is now available in various types of restaurants.

Tea mixed with coffee is also consumed in Ethiopia, where it is known as spreeze.

If you are someone who frequents coffee shop or enjoys “yumcha” session with your friends, I am sure you are not unfamiliar with the drink “Cham Beng”. But, if you think that the only “Cham” available is “Cham Beng”, there are more for you to learn about Malaysians’ creativity when it comes to drinks creation.

Living in a multi-cultured country, it’s not uncommon for us to mingle around (= cham) with friends of different races. Even when we communicate, we habitually combine three different languages into a single sentences when we speak.
