Good on paper. bad in reality. The game is intuitive in ways but it gets in the way of basic things. Building is done seamlessly with axes and you can use it to put holes in walls for windows, but you also use the same axe to attack enemies. So when an enemy is standing near a wall you built and swing it, often you might miss and aim at the wall with the game thinking you want to chop a window hole instead.

Couple it with overpowered enemies, little to no health regeneration even when your stats are full, so unless you can constantly loot and pop meds you will always be one-hit-killed by literally anything and you will need several hits on them. Enemies that are always spawning and attacking you and your buildings no matter where you are, and there is nothing you can do to ward them off unlike the previous game.

And the lack of an autosave feature is this game's biggest weakness

Game needs a lot of work on the fundamentals. Game is early access for sure. its not finished. I just hope they fix these issues soon

There is absolutely no way you could possibly find a better use of $3 than this masterpiece.

Grand Theft Auto. A series from my childhood in which i cherished forever ...Until now.

Since the launch of GTA V, the experience has been slowly getting more annoying, awkward, and repetitive. Rockstar Games has shunned off the modding community since the beginning, and fail to realise that THAT is a huge reason why people buy the game on PC in the first place. No longer. I have been playing since day 1 on the PlayStation 3, and later PlayStation 4 before upgrading to PC, racking somewhere around 2 to 3 THOUSAND hours across the board. Hear my words as a veteran of the series, as well as this game itself...

Rockstar Games has started to think with their bank rather than their brains. They've made billions off this game alone, and has STILL been charging microtransactions on GTA Online for years as well.

Making it impossible to play and earn money, huge paywalls into new features for updates, slowly catering to a community of children and trolls who just want to ruin any fun you might have in Online by launching features and weapons that are so overpowered, (and again behind a paywall so those who cant afford it are helpless, and those who have them are ego-driven trolls), to the point where they've entirely ruined the storyline and feel of their well put-together game into what is bascially the equivilent of Syria. Tanks, APCs, armored vehicles, cars with guns on them all driving around and creating chaos. Free Mode is ruined, and so is this series now.

Pros: Good cars, somewhat decent fun in private lobbies with friends, fun to hang out and do dumb $#!T on.

Cons: Community is trash, huge paywalls in features, mods are dissappearing, the game has turned into a third person sandbox version of Twisted Metal and Call of Duty mashed into one horrible game.

Money will be better spent on PC parts, food... You know what, you're better off putting the money in your mouth and swallowing it than wasting it on this. At least cotton paper has some nutrients.
