P.T. Barnum once said that there is a sucker born every minute. I can only surmise that with the world's population at an all-time high, they are being born these days at a much higher rate.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. If a game isn't fun, there's no way in hell I'm going to waste ten hours on it. That doesn't disqualify me from writing a review explaining why I felt like the game isn't fun. Deal with it.
To those finding themselves offended by this: grow the hell up.
I can understand the logic -- within limitations -- for an established franchise or a company with a proven track record, but it looks to me like there are way too many development projects that are being sold before there's anything of substance to actually sell.
In most cases, my money is going to stay firmly in my pocket until the software has been released long enough for the bugs to be patched out of it. Caveat emptor, I guess.
