I wrote a heart warming story about why people should not listen to the neg reviews on this game if you are truly here for what worms is about. BUT STEAM WHY U NO POST REVIEW!
So heres the low down...
You like worms?
You like worms with a intresting range of weaponary that go off and kill eachother?
You enjoy the old days of "worming it out"? "winkwink*
You don't care for the word "remastered" but the game you loved in your childhood to experience again on pc with controller support and online capibilities?
If any of the above apply to you...
THEN LOOK NO FURTHER LADIES AND GENTLEMEN.
FOR THIS GAME IS WHY PEOPLE LIKE MYSELF FELL IN LOVE WITH WORMS.
Just buy the game to experience some fantastic old school coach gaming with a hint of more modern features to help bring the game forward to more recent days.

Are other worms games of the same generation very much like this one... Yes in its core but the extra features such a more weapons, decent controller support and online capibilities is enough to swing that to a very much recommended game over the others.

I will have to give it a go some time soon! I have heard about tools that allow controller support but never heard anything good about them -_- but I guess I wont know till I try it out myself! Appreciate your comment! Yeah I've been playing worms since I was 4/5 and this was the 1st one I really got my hands on as a kid after playiing the armageddon demo so if anything this game is very nostalgic to me ^^

well, with a tool like Motion-Joy every game has controller support and it doesn't matter if it's an x-box , a PS2/3 one or any other brand of controller so that isn't really anything remarkable

but if you like that worms title i would suggest to give worms 2 a try
(since it's not availible on steam i suggest to try gog.com for that one)

2 pro's about it:
it's the original title from '97 just with a few compatibility changes and it's only around 6€

i'm not writing this to advertise anything, just as a real worms fan that played the PS1 titles endlessly around 10-20 years ago^^

Hey man...some people have had problems but I havn't as of yet... the 640X480 menus is something people keep bringing up and I think my opinon of it shows how I don't care about that clearly... I like the game... alot... is it remastered really? of course not... is it right for them to charge 10 pounds for what is a game about 15+ years old.... no... not really... I am talking from my experience not anyone elses... I understand people being pissed but I am not and I know I'm not the only one! For a game to play with my brothers and mates I couldn't be much happpier... I got what I wanted so I'm happy on that front! Apoligies if people disagree but that isn't my problem! Ps Controller support was a big deal maker for me also..!

more weapons?
i think you never played worms 2(the one from '97 not the crap that came out '09) on pc, that one got's the biggest range of weapons of all worms titles, the resolution is changable and from what i've seen in the trailer it's exactly the same quality so why should one buy a crappy made "remastered" version that is buggy as hell? (constant crashes, no resolution settings, 640x480 menu and an even worse online setting with not even having direct ip connection possible)
