Milanesa a la Napolitana

Ingredients:

4 beef cutlets (or chicken breast)
2 cups breadcrumbs
2 eggs
1 cup flour
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp parsley, chopped
Salt, pepper
Vegetable oil for frying
1 cup tomato sauce
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
4 slices of ham
Oregano to taste
1 tbsp butter (optional)
Instructions:

Prepare Cutlets: Tenderize beef cutlets to 1/4 inch thick. Season with salt and pepper.
Bread Cutlets: Dredge in flour, dip in egg mixture with garlic and parsley, coat with breadcrumbs.
Fry Cutlets: Heat oil and fry cutlets 2-3 mins per side until golden. Drain excess oil.
Assemble: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Top cutlets with tomato sauce, ham, mozzarella, and oregano.
Bake: Bake 10 mins until cheese is melted. Optional: Add butter on top.
